Over the past few days I have looked around for RTX 5070 Ti, and to my surprise you can find this graphics card on the shelves and ready to buy. This may not be a glowing review, because this card left much to be desired in our first experiences with her and probably because of the high prices of third parties. If you still want to learn more or plan a compilation of a white computer in the near future, then this review is for you, if you can force this card, or try to find RX 9070 XT in the vicinity of MSRP wisely.
All right, without a road, let’s pay our attention to the card, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Eagle OC ICE SFF.
This is a triple card with three “Hawk” fans. The middle of three turns the opposite, which is not a occasional approach to lend a hand reduce temperatures. The rear plate is in a immaculate silver finish, although the card is mainly white, hence the “ice” nomenclature. On the other side there is a cut that allows heat breathing and throws out a little roasted air in action. You will want some housing fans to blow up the way to change the residual sizzling air away from the processor and outside the housing.
The card measures 304 x 126 x 50 mm. This gives him the title “Nvidia SFF-Got” and means that it is good in the case of a petite factor. Although the definitions of petite ones are tested to their absolute limit with most “ready for SFF” cards. This unit still requires two PCIe sockets and is wider than MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Ventus 3x OC White, which I tested at the same time. It also weighs a immense piece at 1223 g (2.69 pounds), heavier than Ventus 3x, although there is support in the box that will lend a hand prevent fall.

Eagle OC is an elegant graphics card. It has a surprisingly tasteful RGB LED strip along the bottom length of the card, which can be controlled using the Centrol Gigabyte Centrum software. I also tried to adjust the lithe belt using OpenRGB, but this specific Gigabyte card is not yet supported. The Gigabyte Control Center package is quite a immense download at just over 800 MB and I hoped that I would not have to hold it. Although in his defense he also offers profiles of Eagle OC fans and allows you to set or find the appropriate overclock. It ended up that I was sticking to MSI Afterburner – if it was not broken – but you can save on the next download here.
Finally, there is a petite switch on the card to change between the performance and the still Vbios profile. All my tests below take place on the performance profile, because at the beginning it is not a raucous graphics card. However, if you need to drop it quietly, I conducted several tests and I discovered that it usually worked more or less the same as the performance mode in terms of clock speed and power draw. However, it was consistently slower, and because it is not really still, I am not sure if it is worth trouble. I didn’t really notice any decrease in the noise level. It is good to have a spare VBIO, which should at least in an unlikely event.
The only way to discover the guts of this card is to completely remove heat from the GPU and memory, so that’s what I did. Gigabyte actually used a tutic putty on memory and VRM here and was quite generous with a poop for every component. It seems that everything is a good coverage and there is no shortage of space, although it does not seem that the induction vessel completely spreads away.
I found this card mentioned in Best Buy for 900 USD. Of course not available. In other words, MSRP RTX 5070 Ti is 749 USD, which means that this card is USD 151 in relation to the usual starting price. There are no founders RTX 5070 Ti, and my attempts to find IK RTX 5070 TI during the premiere are well documented, so do this IAS, what you want. Speaking again in a slightly different perspective, this Eagle OC ICE is one of the more affordable RTX 5070 Ti RTX cards.
Do you see the problem here? RTX 5070 TI, in general, is not at an affordable price and has deteriorated through extreme prices of third parties. Eagle OC ice is not the worst of this fate, but it is not able to value well. To distance it at one coherent thought, no matter how you look at her, Eagle OC ICE is a tough sales.
But I am not shared with performance figures yet, which can lend a hand you make your own mind. “OC” in the title of this card means that this card is a bit thrown compared to the given reference number, and therefore works at 542 MHz to a nominal raise of 2452 MHz – an raise of 90 MHz.
Until now, we have tested five curled RTX 5070 Ti cards and I can say that in these cards each and all varieties of the boost clock resulted in the square element of nothing. The frame or two separate the plot in most games if they work differently. Only our Homeworld 3 results are absent with this analysis, but this game is quite related to the processor, and a slight raise in performance seems consistent with a petite and mysterious improvement in the processor’s performance, not the GPU.
Most tested cards are more costly than Eagle Ice OC, including MSI Gaming Trio and Tuf Gaming OC. However, we tested one nominal model MSRP, Ventus 3X, which is equipped with moderate factory straining with an area of 2482 MHz – only 60 MHz slower than Eagle OC.
Turning off our results for Homeworld 3, Eagle OC ICE is 0.43% faster than Ventus 3x at 1080p, i.e. 0.37% at 4K. Less than the difference of percentile points for … 151 USD more.
Well, you clearly get more opportunities potential For this extra money, right? Unfortunately, no, not very much. Although it is true that the RTX 50 series is extremely good, I could not make Eagle OC ICE match our postponement +450 MHz on overclock on Ventus 3x. I had to settle for +440 MHz, which remained stable during further tests. The difference between these accents is nothing in the great scheme of things. Both cards work the same enough, and these two samples do not indicate accents that may be possible on other cards, even with the same project. However, it is a bit frustrating, taking into account the rather inexplicable price difference between them.

One of the likely reasons for slim improvement of Gigabyte is that it has a closed power limit of 100%, which means that you work with an existing card power limit to find the right narrowing. Therefore, if you are a reasonable rated who wants more with a surprising fruitful RTX series, search elsewhere.
There is also an argument for AMD RX 9070 XT. I joined here two to compare, MSRP Asus Prime OC and $ 650 $ XFX Swift OC. The first one is much more attractive than the latter, although the demand has seen that prices also increased by AMD cards. Nevertheless, as shown in comparative results, these Radeon cards are both competitive and pay attention to RTX 5070 Ti Nvidia.
Buy if …
✅ You have cash to burn and you will pay for the chances of RTX 5070 Ti: Okay, it is not so convincing, but if you want to spend 900 USD+ on RTX 5070 Ti, this one is at least hit in this amount, instead of creeping into four -digit numbers.
Don’t buy if …
❌ You want the best value for money: There is nothing good for dollar performance on this card. If you can find an alternative MSRP or AMD at a good price, it is the one you should go to.
❌ You want to control the bogus: There is not much correction on Eagle OC ICE.
In defense of Eagle OC ICE works quite frosty. Not more than most similar designs, but on average at 64 ° C during a metro exodus, it is not toasted. The power draw is in a similar bay, somewhere between the average and average.
What can I do about all this? I would like this review to be useful in six months, when a lot of MSRP cards or MSRP close cards are available. If Eagle OC ICE drops to just over the MSRP, you can justify his performance in the middle of the package. However, I am not convinced that we will see such a huge correction from the price of a fixed manufacturer in a brief or medium period, and I have to evaluate this card where it is today.
I just can’t recommend this card. RGB lighting is neat, and white and silver colorful is now one of my favorite families of the 50 series, but everything is disappointed by this significant dollar performance. Because there is no edition of the RTX 5070 Ti founders, this is contrary to mainly professional competition, and often more than myself, but I am not convinced that there is enough here to justify these additional expenses. There is also the RX 9070 XT, which works similarly in our tests, and theoretically available at a lower price still than RTX 5070 TI. Although the AMD card is subject to increased prices again.
All in all, it is tough to suggest a real alternative to a much smaller one, although your time may be better spent racing in stocks of a cheaper Radeon card.
