There are plenty of gaming deals worth checking out this Black Friday. For PlayStation 5 owners, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has dropped to just $15 today at Amazon. That’s a full 70% off the list price of $49.99, dropping it to its lowest price ever according to the price tracker camelkamelkamel.
If this offer sells out, the good backup option will run out Best Buy where you can get the game for $19.99. That’s a few dollars more than Amazon, but it’s still a great option to keep in mind if the $15 deal disappears.
After its premiere, we highly praised Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Writer Phil Hornshaw said in our review of the game that “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown not only captures what made games like The Sands of Time so good, but also addresses many of the minor issues that have plagued 3D games in this series, by opting for a 2D perspective – and by having it – also works exceptionally well as a traditional Metroidvania, sticking to the proven elements of the genre but executing them with precision.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown also earned several nominations at The Game Awards this year for Best Action/Adventure Game and Accessibility Innovation. We also consider it one of the best video games of 2024.
