Genshin Impact Nilou is an unusual character in many ways. One of them is that she doesn’t require Talent levels to be useful. Instead, Nilou benefits more from Character and Ascension levels. Here are all the materials you’ll need to maximize your Nilou.
Nilou Character Ascension Requirements
Eternal Caliber – Aeonblight Drake
Nilou’s world boss is the Aeonblight Drake, located in Ardravi Valley in Sumer. The Aeonblight Drake will take to the air mid-fight. You can force it to the ground and stun it by shooting the glowing dots on its wings and chest.
Nilou will need 46 bosses to reach level 90. This means that at World Level 8, you should expect to have to challenge Aeonblight Drake around 18 times.
Padisara
Padisarah flowers are a local specialty of Sumer. They can be found in the northern half of the Sumerian forestsIf you have Tighnari or Sethos in your party, the locations of Sumerian local specialties will be highlighted on your minimap.
Nilou will need 168 Padisarahs to reach maximum Ascension. There are only 68 Padisarahs in the world of Teyvat, and the local specialties respawn 46 hours after you collect them. This means you will need to clear your world’s Padisarahs two to three times, or ask a friend if you can take some from their world.
Basic Mushroom Materials
Nilou uses basic drops from Floating Fungi. Fungus enemies can be found all over Sumer, but make sure Don’t have a Pyro or Electro on your teambecause attacking the Mushrooms with Pyro or Electro attacks will cause them to drop various materials.
To reach level 90, Nilou will need 18 Mushroom Spores, 30 Luminescent Dust, and 36 Crystal Cyst Dust, not counting talent leveling materials.
Lapis Lazuli Varunada
Since Nilou is a Hydro character, she uses blue Hydro gems to Ascend. Aeonblight Drake drops Hydro gems, but if you still don’t have enough, you can swap some gems from another element at the alchemy table.
To reach maximum Ascension level, Nilou will need a total of 1 Varunada Lapis Lazuli Shard, 9 Fragments, 9 Nuggets, and 6 Gemstones.
Talent Levels for Nilou
Nilou doesn’t really need any Talent levels at all. As long as she’s at level 90 and has as much HP as possible, she’ll fulfill her intended role in her teams. Praxis Books
Nilou’s Talents require Praxis books to level up. Praxis books can be obtained from the Sumeru Talent domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Nilou will need 9 Bronze Books, 63 Silver Books, and 114 Gold Books to develop all three Talents to maximum level.
Basic Mushroom Materials
Mushrooms can be found in Sumer. Remember not to attack the mushrooms with Pyro or Electro attacks.or omit the wrong class of materials.
Nilou will need 18 Mushroom Spores, 66 Luminescent Dust, and 93 Crystal Cyst Dust to reach level 10 of each talent.
Tears of an Unfortunate God – Raiden Shogun
Nilou’s weekly boss material is Tears of the Calamitous God, which drops from the Raiden Shogun boss domain. The domain appears after completing Raiden’s Story Quest, but if you haven’t gotten there yet, you can quickly start the challenge from the Adventurer’s Handbook.
Nilou requires 18 Tears of the Calamitous God to level up all three Talents. On max difficulty, you can expect to have to farm the domain about 8 times to get everything you need.
