Genshin Impact Battle Pass (Gnostic Hymn) explained.

Published:

Once you reach adventurer rank 20 you will unlock Genshin Strike‘S Battle Pass. The Battle Pass uses a separate level system that requires you to complete basic daily and weekly tasks.

Our Genshin Strike The Battle Pass Guide explains how the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass works and whether it’s worth purchasing.

How the Genshin Impact Battle Pass works

Each completed mission will reward you with a certain amount of Battle Pass XP, and progressing one level requires 1,000 BP XP. Quests will require you to fight Trounce Domain bosses three times or log in and complete four rakes per day. Most busy players will level up their Battle Pass by simply playing normally, but you can only earn 10,000 BP EXP per week. The pass maxes out at 50 levels.

Battle passes typically last approximately six weeks before being refreshed when an update is released.

Sojourner’s Battle Pass (Free) vs. Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass (Paid)

There are two versions of the Battle Pass. The Sojourner Battle Pass is free and gives rewards such as Mora, Adventurer Experience, Mystic Spell Ore, or Sanctifying Anointing (materials that give EXP to artifacts), depending on which material you choose. Every 10 levels of the Dweller Battle Pass, you will be rewarded with a Significant Fate.

The Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass costs $9.99 and, in addition to Sojourner’s Battle Pass items, grants more Mora, Hero’s Wisdom, Mystic Spell Ore, or Sanctifying Essence. It also gives Sanctifying Elixir so you can create custom artifacts as well as materials to upgrade your talents (skills). There is also a reward box on level 30 that allows you to choose four-star weapon from an exclusive set. Every 10 levels of the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass you will be rewarded Intertwined fates.

For $19.99 you can buy it Gnostic Choir. This is the same as the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass, but instead of starting at level 1 of the Battle Pass, you will start at level 10. (If you purchase it after leveling up Sojourner’s Battle Pass, you will simply add 10 levels to your existing level.) Also includes an expansion pack special business card style, furniture designAND five exquisite resins (to regenerate stamina). The Gnostic Chorus is discounted if you already own the Gnostic Hymn.

It’s worth noting that every 10 levels, the Battle Pass grants Fates to spend on gacha wishes. Free Battle Pass rewards Learn about the fates and awards for the Gnostic hymn Intertwined fates.

Upgrading the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass is only worth it if you complete it. We recommend not purchasing the upgrade until you reach rank 50 as you will receive all rewards retroactively anyway.

Genshin Impact Battle Pass weapons

The Paid Battle Pass rewards you with a box called BP Bounty, which lets you choose from the following 10 weapons:

  • Black Sword (sword)
  • Snake Spine (claymore)
  • Solar Pearl (catalyst)
  • Bright Hunting (Bow)
  • Deathmatch (pole weapon)
  • Wolf’s Fang (sword)
  • Talking stick (claymore)
  • Sacrificial Jade (Catalyst)
  • Scion of the Blazing Sun (bow)
  • Ballad of the Fjords (pole weapon)

It’s challenging to classify weapons, but Snake Spine AND Wolf’s Fang are widely seen as “the best” and Bright hunting AND Talking stick are considered the worst of these weapons – but you should just get whatever you need from the BP reward that suits your characters’ needs.

We recommend that you check out the individual guides on how to create your favorite characters on the site Keqing Network and see what they recommend. For example, if you’re a major supporter of Kinich, you might choose to build the Earth Shaker, a weapon that can be crafted in Natlan, instead of choosing (or spending $10 for) the Serpent’s Back. However, if you’re commanding Arataki Itto and don’t have his dedicated five-star weapon, Serpent’s Spine is his second-best choice, making it a worthwhile pick.
