Gamescom 2024 takes place in Cologne, Germany as a central hub and celebration of talent in the gaming industry as well as the wider community. It is home to Europe’s largest annual gaming show, and with bigger and better names in the industry attending every year, Opening Night Live is a benchmark for what we can expect this weekend.

Civilization VII
The award-winning strategy game series from developer Firaxis Games brings Sid Meier’s Civilization VII to Switch, where you can hone your architectural skills and found cities to build an empire in your pursuit of prosperity. Civ7 hits Switch on February 11th next year, almost a decade after its predecessor, so put down those chisels and get out those blueprints, we’ve got an empire to rule.

Monument Valley 3
Netflix Games is not only bringing Monument Valley 3 to mobile devices on December 10, but it’s also bringing the first two games in the strange puzzle series to the streaming platform in the lead-up to its winter release. Monument Valley I will be available on September 19, and Monument Valley II will be available on October 29, so put on your thinking caps and get ready to set sail on a journey of puzzles.

Genshin Influence
Gacha fans—that’s us, if you haven’t noticed—were treated to a modern trailer for Genshin Impact’s August 28 update, which will finally give us the chance to explore the nation of Natlan. But we didn’t just get a kickass trailer with an even kickass soundtrack. Genshin Impact finally has a release date on XBox, and the gacha will be coming to consoles on November 20.

Nikki Infinity
Our eyes have been blessed with a modern trailer for Infinity Nikki, showing off some truly stunning imagery, both fashionable and otherwise. With Zelda’s Kentaro Tominaga working on the latest installment of Nikki, we’re sure to be in for a visually stunning adventure. Jump into the dress-up open world when Infinity Nikki launches on Switch, and until then, you can sign up for the closed beta.

King of Meat
Ready for action? Ready for mayhem? Well, so are we. King of Meat is an online co-op fighting game developed by English company Glowmade in partnership with Amazon Games. Slice, dice, chop, fillet and slash your enemies when the game arrives on Switch, and while you sharpen your steel, you can sign up for future Game tests right now!
