- The Sinclair dynasty has produced another engaging fresh gadget
- Grant Sinclair is to launch GameRcard, a gift card size console, in stores around the world
- For now, it is available via a website and is packed with a surprisingly forceful processor
If there is one thing to say for the British, we are a nation of inventors. It is simply usually in the form of crazy gadgets straight from Wallace & Gromit nowadays. As confirmed by Sir Clive Sinclaira and his strange but inventive innovations, the torches were raised by his son Grant. Now the latest gadget introduced by the Sinclair dynasty GameRcard.
Apart from a slightly unclear name, Gamercard is quite an engaging fresh project. The size and shape of the established gift card in the supermarket, this device is reduced Raspberry Pi, which is equipped with a package of classics in the arcaded style already loaded.
Now we can mention all different technical specifications, but everything is quite elementary. Reinforced glass screen, sandwich structure, stereo speakers and rather forceful 64-bit Raspberry Pi Zero 2W with your own quad-core Cortex-A53 processor.
My (player) card, my good gentleman
While at first glance, Gamercard seems to be as mocking as the infamous Sinclair cycle, just like this gifts size gadget may be larger than it seems on the surface. Of course, Raspberry Pi supply means that it can be infinitely configured with all additional applications.
Meanwhile, construction and relatively inexpensive price (125 GBP) have many people to see if it turns out to be a great device for players who are accustomed to mobile devices and want to get to games in retro.
Thanks to plans to bring Gamercard to these gift card stands, you can soon see one of them nearby!
If you want to find out what else is when it comes to a gadget for mobile players, well, we recently discussed the holder of the Fishsticks Fortnite phone, which may not be so groundbreaking, but certainly does what he says it will be on a can.
