If you don’t have enough Persona in your life yet, there’s potentially a lot more in the pipeline, regardless of which cast you’re a fan of. A smartphone spinoff, Persona 5: The Phantom X, has been confirmed for console release, and a port is promised sometime after the mobile version’s international launch.
Central person brings us the news, citing a fragment from an offline event held by SEGA, Atlus, and Chinese developer Perfect World in Shanghai on July 12, which has already been translated and published. The answers given at the event confirm both the game’s international release and the later development of a console version.
Interestingly, long-term collaboration plans are already in place for Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Persona 4 Golden, in that particular release order. We were very surprised to learn just how amazing mobile games are these days; check out The Phantom X gameplay trailer below.
