Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion continues to be one of my favorite games of the year. In fact, publisher Marvelous has had a great year, with Titanic Scion alongside Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar and Rune Factory 5: Guardians of Azuma keeping their franchises at the top of the Switch 2 charts. Titanic Scion is receiving its second free update today with patch 1.1.1. introducing a series of improvements to the sci-fi game, including fresh bosses and repeatable side missions.
Update 1.1.1 introduces more giant bosses that challenge the best of players’ arsenals, as well as a wide range of bug fixes and gameplay improvements, including fresh visual customization options for Outers. The update also includes the release of a fresh free DLC, further enhancing players’ ability to customize their perfect Outer.
In today’s DLC, you can take on two powerful fresh bosses alone or with up to two friends – the deadly Lapis Lacrima RT: Ω and Cybele RT: Ω, plus the lasting addition of the Zeruchroar event boss via the rematch simulator. The update also introduces the option to disable the visual effects of Fusion mutations on their Externals, which is only a cosmetic change that does not restore Externals’ humanity or disable the Fusion system. Finally, players can now replay side missions that were previously unavailable after completing them and earn alternate rewards they may have missed in earlier missions.
The release of Update 1.1.1 also includes a pair of fresh free Outer Outfits, joining the free “Iris Outfit” and other avatar customization DLC currently available for download. Details and prices for the latest cosmetic DLC can be found below.

Available on Switch 2, as well as PC, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, Daemon At launch, I said that Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion was a great sci-fi game. While it wears its influences on its sleeve, it comes out the other side as a unique and enjoyable mech-based action RPG.
Patch 1.1.1 is now available on all platforms.
