Turn 10 just released Forza Motorsport Update 11, adding a up-to-date track in the form of Road Atlanta and integrating multi-class racing into the game. A up-to-date wave of in-game events and up-to-date cars in the spotlight will be available Thursday night.
Road Atlanta is an icon of North American motorsports, with signature elevation changes and plenty of twisty, twisty corners that are a real challenge to master. Both the 2.54-mile Full Circuit and the 1.77-mile Club Circuit are featured in Update 11. Another track is set to arrive with Update 13 in October.
The upcoming month of racing will feature both road and race cars, highlighted each week in the Road to Race event, which sees road cars transformed into track monsters. These include:
- Series 1: The Road – 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
- Series 1: The Race – 2014 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing Corvette C7.R
- Series 2: The Road – 2009 Ferrari 458 Italy
- Series 2: The Race – 2011 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione F458 Italia GTC
- Series 3: The Road – 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4
- Series 3: Race – 2015 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo
- Series 4: The Road -Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2019
- Series 4: Race – 2018 Porsche #73 Park Place Motorsports 911 GT3 R
The grand prize at the end of it all will be a 2018 Aston Martin #97 AMR Vantage GTE.
Multi-class racing will make its first appearance in Forza Motorsport multiplayer with Open Events and the return of the Endurance Series. Both will add a fresh twist to the action in the game as you can compete for the best result in your class, rather than the overall victory.
The first week of racing, which begins on Thursday, will see the Endurance Series feature a mix of Forza GT2 + Forza P2 + Forza Proto-H races to crown three winners, while the Open Series will allow for cars in categories A, B, C and S – with other unified races also available.
