Fortnite Reload is a fresh mode with a fresh map, endless revivals, classic elements and no vehicles

Today, June 22, Fortnite is introducing a fresh mode called Fortnite Reload, which includes a fresh map, tons of classic weapons and locations, endless revivals as long as one player on the team stays alive, and no vehicles.

As he detailed Fortnite team, Fortnite Reload is a 40-player Fill or No Fill Squads game played on a “narrower map” with POIs such as Tilted Towers and Retail Row, allowing players to get back into the action much faster than in other modes.

When a player is knocked down, their individual restart timer starts and will continue to count for as long as there is one remaining team member alive. Restart timers start at 30 seconds and boost to 40 seconds later in the match, and teammates can shorten the time until their friends return by knocking down an opponent (-2 seconds), eliminating a player (-4 seconds), and destroying the entire team (-10 seconds).

While it will be great to have your teammates coming back left and right, it is vital to remember that the restart will end in the final moments of the match, so remember to never get too used to your aggressive tactics.

In addition to all of these reboots, a handful of unscripted loot will be added to the Fortnite Reload fun, including a Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, OG Heavy Shotgun, Tactical SMG, Infantry Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and gripper.

Crowns of Victory can still be earned, and when you eliminate a player, they will drop Small Shield Potions, medium and airy ammo, shotgun shells, and (building only) 50 of each building material. So yes, there will be plenty of fun and crazy action.

In terms of rewards, Fortnite Reload includes introductory tasks that each grant 20,000 XP, and if you complete three you’ll unlock the Digital Air Combat Counter, for six you’ll get a Pool Cube Pack, and for nine you’ll get the NaNa Bath Back Bling Backpack. Oh, and Victory Royale will give players the Rezzbrella Glider.

Fortnite Reload aims to give players a much more classic Fortnite experience without the vehicles, and yes, it can be played in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

This is a gigantic weekend for Fortnite as there will also be a concert event this weekend called Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. is an interactive experience that celebrates the music of the iconic rock band and features six of their songs.

As if that wasn’t enough, Fortnite also recently introduced Lego Island star Pepper Roni, who can be visited at the pizzeria in LEGO Tycoon: Tilted Towers.
