Epic Games announces an explosive return Fortnite story content with a trailer for the finale of the Zero Hour Chapter 6 live event, which features some heavy-hitting scenes ahead of the inevitable release of Chapter Seven.
The description for the up-to-date Fortnite featurette promises that several familiar faces will “gather in the end game to save reality,” and the footage confirms it. In just 30 seconds, Jonesy dodges attacks from giant tentacles while Godzilla, King Kong and Star Wars X-Wings battle overhead. Naturally, a giant, half-naked Homer Simpson makes an appearance before Uma Thurman’s Kill Bill character, The Bride, enters the trailer, which finally tells players to expect the Fortnite Chapter 6 Zero Hour finale on November 29 at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.
There’s a lot to unravel here, but the most striking one is the appearance of Kill Bill. Fans spent weeks speculating on how to do this Quentin Tarantino’s legendary action series may soon find representation in Fortniteand today’s trailer finally reveals the first look.
This reveal will certainly add to rumors that Tarantino himself will be involved in some of Epic’s upcoming celebrations, with some believing that he is the one to direct the up-to-date film. There is no official information on what exactly awaits the grand finale, but here are some Eagle-eyed fans are already anticipating a Fortnite-related release at Tarantino’s The Vista Theater in Los Angeles, the evidence is becoming increasingly tough to deny.
With everyone from Godzilla to Homer tearing into one of the biggest Fortnite events ever, fans are eager to see how Chapter Seven might shake up the long-running live service formula. Some believe Epic is dropping hints that The Seven, an all-star group that has been largely missing from Fortnite’s story content for years, could somehow return in a Seven-themed chapter, for example.
If The Seven return to Epic’s immense video game multiverse, that will likely mean that the stars who play them, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Brie Larson, will also return. We should learn more about the Zero Hour finale in Fortnite Chapter 6 and Chapter Seven in the coming weeks
Meanwhile, players spent November wandering around none other than The Simpsons’ Springfield as the long-running animated series debuted themed skins, Easter Eggsand more.
