FallTV adaptation of the popular post-apocalyptic video game series, released on Amazon Prime in April of this year. Video game adaptations can sometimes be a bit of a mixed bag, but in this case, fans and critics (us included) loved the characters, worldbuilding, and overall take on the Fallout universe. It should come as no surprise that the show was nominated for multiple categories at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
Fall has been nominated in 16 categories, but two of them are particularly thrilling. First, the series is one of eight nominees for Outstanding Drama Series, which puts it among other substantial series of 2024, such as Shogun, who currently leads the pack with 25 nominations. Second, Walton Goggins has been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Ghoul. This is his second Emmy nomination – the first was for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series Justified in 2011.
