Fallout: London is back in the hands of the FOLON team after apparently getting the green featherlight from GOG, but the project head says: “please don’t get too excited”

Published:

The creators of the massive Fallout 4 mod, Fallout: London, have confirmed that their work is back in their hands and “no longer available on GOG,” but are urging potential players not to get too excited just yet.

The FOLON team previously revealed that the mod had been sent to the PC store that distributes it for final QA testing. GOG also recently confirmed to us that the mod will not work with copies of Fallout 4 purchased from the Epic Games store at launch.

Now, the team has confirmed on the Fallout: London Discord server that the mod is now in their hands, but warned that this doesn’t mean fans should get too excited about the upcoming release, as there are still a few things that need to be sorted out before that happens.

So, while this is a noteworthy status update for the mod, which is why we decided to write about it, if you’re really looking forward to playing Fallout: London, it’s worth heeding Carter’s words and not getting too excited just yet. Just be patient and wait until the modders do everything they need to before they’re ready to make an official announcement that the time to go is really, really close.

You can listen to a clip of former Speaker of the UK House of Commons John Bercow voicing a fashion robot on repeat to pass the time – after all, the way he shouts “Order!” never gets elderly.
