Evil Dead: The game is no longer available to buy after the publisher began to pull it out of digital store sites.
Asymmetrical multiplayer game based on a beloved series of horror movies launched in 2022 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Ign’s Evil Dead: The game review returned 8/10. We said: “Evil Dead: The game is an asymmetrical game for multi -person cats and mouse, which is convincing and joyful, although she is rough on the edges – like the horror/comedies that inspired her.”
The Game of the Year edition was released a year later, but it clearly did not have the desired influence on the number of players. In September 2023, the Nintendo Switch version was canceled and the content of the content was suspended.
Now, three years after starting, Evil Dead: The Game has disappeared for good, but her servers will remain online so that the existing owners can continue the game.
In a statement published to Steam page of the gameThe programmer and publisher of Sabre Interactive confirmed the change:
We can confirm that we have started the process of removing the game from digital store sites. Everyone who bought the game will still be able to play it because we plan to maintain our online servers for everyone.
We want to honestly thank our community, those who were part of the game from the very beginning, and those who recently joined us. We appreciate all your support.
There are many negative reviews at Evil Dead: Steam’s website in the game lamenting over the decision to get it out of sales, and most claims that it is now effectively dead. In general, he maintains a “mixed” rating of Steam’s review.
“The end is almost”, reads one latest positive review from the player with over 380 hours in the game. “It was fun when it lasted, the guys. I mean it.”
Sabre Interactive, which developed last year’s Hit Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, has many licensed film games, including toxic commando John Carpenter, Jurassic Park Survival and Avatar Buttedled: The Last Airbender. Turok: Origins and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 are also in development.
