Before you start worrying about novel systems, be sure to get a novel Cyte-09 frame and try out the build for it. But read on to find out everything you need to know Warframe: The 99’s calendar, its seasons, hex replacements and all the weekly tasks you want to make sure you complete.

Warframe: Calendar and Seasons Explained for 1999

Calendar in Warframe: 1999 it’s basically a to-do list of things you can do in a month. Each real-time week is a separate “season” divided into three in-game calendar months. A real-time month therefore turns into a year in the calendar.

Each week you have goals to complete for the entire season. This can only be done in Höllvania, but the specific mission does not matter. These objectives run the gamut, so sometimes you can get skill kills, other times you can beat Scaldra.

Once you achieve your goals, you will unlock various rewards. These also run the gamut, but you can get some pretty valuable loot like Archon Shards. However, as the seasons progress, you’ll have not only loot on your calendar, but also the birthdays of each member of the Hex syndicate.

If you so choose, you can organize special little birthday interactions with each member, which in turn will work to even out your relationship with that member. In addition to rewards and birthdays, there’s one more thing to unlock on the calendar: Curse Overrides.

Hex Overrides are essentially buffs that apply to your Warframes during gameplay 1999 contents. However, they are not Warframe specific like the infusions in Helminth and will apply to any Warframe you choose to load into Höllvania with – but only in Höllvania missions.

Regardless of which Hex changes you choose, they will be valid until the end of the calendar year, which will be a real-time month. The season resets weekly, but your curse replacements will carry over to the end of the monthly cycle, when you’ll have the chance to select novel curse replacements again.

Hex overrides are divided into two types: hex buffs and hex factors.

Hex Boosts are passive stat boosts, so you can find a Hex Boost that increases your melee attack speed. Some hex buffs are stackable, so you can choose the same thing multiple times if you can. Although you may not be guaranteed to get the one you want.

Hex factors are vigorous buffs, so you can find a Hex factor that causes electricity damage when jumping through projectiles. These effects are not stackable, so no matter what hex ratio you choose, you will be given a hex ratio and will not be able to upgrade or reselect it later.

Note: Curse Overrides are tied to specific Curse Syndicate members in the calendar, but that’s just for flavor. You will not level up your relationships with Curse members by selecting a Curse Override tied to a specific member. They will not only affect the frame of this member.
