After a forceful start, Ground Zero without Zen revealed details about its first major content update. Here’s a recap of ZZZ 1.1’s special programs, including fresh characters, events, and a brand fresh game mode!
Ground Zero without Zen Version 1.1 titled “Undercover R&B” will be released August 14th. Wise and Belle’s journey across New Eridu continues as they join forces with NEPS to take on the infamous Mountain Lion Gang.
ZZZ 1.1 Polychromatic Code
One promo code was revealed during the broadcast: COVERED. You can apply it in the game or on official website of the project. Make sure you’re logged into the right account and act speedy! This code expires August 4th at 10:59am CT.
New characters in version 1.1
In version 1.1 ZZZ will be enriched with three fresh playable characters: Qingyi, Jane Doe and Seth Lowell.
Qingyi is an S-Rank Electric Stun agent in Zhu Yuan’s security detail. We first met her as an NPC during a main story mission, and she’s now playable. She appears to be a melee unit that strikes quickly to build Daze in an area of effect. When she deals Electric damage, Qingyi gains “Flash Connect Voltage” charges, allowing her to apply stronger attacks.
Jane Doe is a high-ranking member of the Mountain Lion gang, though her entry card enigmatically reads “Faction Unknown”. She is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly unit that unleashes a series of rapid strikes to escalate her Attribute Anomaly on enemies. Jane will apply the Passion Stream mechanic to enter the Passion State, allowing her to unleash a series of rapid attacks.
Seth Lowell is another member of Zhu Yuan’s protection squad. As an A-ranked Arc Defense Unit, Seth provides his teammates with a shield that protects them from damage. He can also strike enemies with his sword, dealing Arc damage. He protects but also attacks.
The fresh Bangboo will also appear in ZZZ 1.1: Officer Cui Bangboo. When there are two or more NEPS Officers on your team, Officer Cui will perform follow-up attacks as part of your attack chain. Officer Cui will be added to the Bangboo roster on the Signal Search page, where you can select him as your target Bangboo.
ZZZ Banners Version 1.1
The first half of ZZZ 1.1 will include: Qingyi (S) with his signature W-Engine Ice-Jade (S) teapot.
The banners in the second half of the match will feature: Jane (S) and Seth (AND). Their respective W-Engine engines will also be available as part of the Signal Quest: Sharpened Stinger (S) and Peacekeeper Specialized (A).
ZZZ Events Version 1.1
This Camellia Golden Week event will feature a variety of mini-games and puzzle levels. Dive into the fresh Companion Hollow to earn Polychromes and the event-exclusive A-Class W-Engine: Camellia.
First class customer service is another event that focuses on a video rental store. Complete a series of QTE-type activities to lend a hand customers fine-tune their video players.
The Daily Life of a PubSec Officer takes players through, well, the everyday life of a public safety officer. Talk to the citizens of New Eridu and take on a series of diminutive jobs to lend a hand them out.
Scene one, take one! is a photography event. Pose yourself and other characters, apply fresh filters and take the perfect photo.
Login Events – Free Draws
There will be two login events in the upcoming version of ZZZ. The first, the All-New Program, awards a total of 10 encrypted master tapes over seven days. The second, “Eh-Nah” Into Your Lap, awards a similar 10 Boopons over seven days. We will receive a total of 20 free strokes just for logging in to the game.
New Game Mode: Inferno Reap
A fresh game mode called Harvest of Hell will be available in Update 1.1. This is going to be a tough boss fight, pitting the Proxies against Nineveh directly. There is no Hollow TV navigation, just pure combat. To access Inferno Reap, you must complete the Withering Garden stage in Hollow Zero. There is no limit to how many times you can take on this challenge, so pick your favorite teams and put them to the test!
