Where can you buy used Switch consoles?
The best and most consistent place to find used Switch consoles is eBay. Many gamers sell their used Switch consoles there because they are trouble-free and reliable. You can find a wide range of price ranges depending on the specific console you’re looking for. Due to how occasional some of these circumscribed edition Switch models have become, some are very steep.
If you don’t want to buy on eBay, GameStop also sells used consoles that are reliable and work properly. You may end up spending more than elsewhere, but sometimes it can be a safer option. Amazon also offers refurbished versions of some of these consoles, but supplies may be circumscribed.
What is the difference between the Limited Edition and Special Edition Switch models?
There are quite a few special edition Nintendo Switch models you can buy right now, but most of the circumscribed edition models are completely out of stock. This is because circumscribed edition models are circumscribed to a specific production quantity, unlike special edition consoles which are not necessarily circumscribed to a specific inventory quantity. Once you have purchased all of your consoles, you can still purchase circumscribed edition consoles, but the price will usually be increased by third-party sellers as they are no longer available on the market.
Will there be upcoming circumscribed edition Nintendo Switches?
There are currently no plans for any upcoming circumscribed edition Nintendo Switch models that will be available with upcoming Switch games. This is largely due to the next-generation Nintendo system looming on the horizon, which is scheduled to premiere in the first quarter of next year. Following the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, you can expect Nintendo to release a wide range of circumscribed edition consoles, controllers, and accessories for major game releases.
