If you own a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, there is no better game series to collect than Mario. The Plumber has had some of his best adventures ever on both systems, and you can save on select Mario games for a confined time on Black Friday. Nintendo rarely puts its games on sale, so now is the time to pick up these Mario games before the deals run out.
Nintendo’s Black Friday deals have been very popular so far and have mostly sold out on Amazon. We’ve included other retailers that still have the games in stock.
Every Mario Switch game on sale for Black Friday 2025
First of all, it’s challenging to beat Super Mario Odyssey at just $29.99. Mario, who is trying to stop Bowser from forcibly marrying Princess Peach, sees him traversing various kingdoms with a up-to-date friend named Cappy, a sentient being in a hat and the main gimmick of the game. Mario can throw Cappy to possess and take control of enemies, inanimate objects, and more. If there’s one game on this list that I can’t recommend enough, it’s Super Mario Odyssey.
Another fantastic Nintendo Switch game on sale is Luigi’s Mansion 3, which stars Mario’s ghost-hunting brother. This time, Luigi goes on vacation to a giant hotel with Mario, Toad and Princess Peach, but as always, everything goes wrong. One great up-to-date feature involves solving puzzles using a cloned Luigi named Gooigi, who can walk on spikes and squeeze through grates to get to places Luigi couldn’t otherwise reach.
Paper-Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was one of the best Switch games of 2024, and this Black Friday you can save 50% on the beloved remake. Originally released for the GameCube, The Thousand-Year Door features a fantastic story, great characters, and a satisfying turn-based RPG combat system. The Nintendo Switch remake added many quality-of-life features, such as a Partner Ring that allows you to switch partners on the fly, a brisk travel system to reduce backtracking, and more. Not to mention the updated graphics.
Finally, Princess Peach: Showtime! is available for $39.99 on Black Friday. Princess Peach must defend the stage in multiple shows from the threats of a up-to-date group of enemies in this action-packed adventure. Each playthrough brings Peach a different outfit and skill set, opening up a whole up-to-date style of gameplay. This is different from other Mario adventures, so if you didn’t like this game last year, this is a great time and a worthy addition to your Nintendo Switch library.
More great Black Friday deals on Nintendo Switch
While there are no Nintendo Switch 2 deals available, you can still get your hands on pre-Christmas bundles if you buy now. The Mario Kart World Bundle includes a copy of the latest Mario Kart game and saves you some of the cost of purchasing it separately.
