Thank your personal deity – perhaps Miquella the Kind – it’s Friday! The biggest eyebrow raiser today is Sand Land dropping to $50 on PS5, even though the Xbox version hovers around $100. Pricing error? Too much stock on one platform? Who knows, my friend. Capitalize first; ask questions later.
In retro news, I’m celebrating my 22nd birthday Frequencypsychedelic, instrument-free proto-Guitar Hero. I have distinct memories of spending way too much time trying to perfect my track shift combinations on the 25+ songs included here — most notably the song No DoubtEx-girlfriend‘…for some reason. Although Frequency didn’t sell very well, it was a grave drug for Westerners whose only exposure to the genre was PaRappa, rapper AND Break the rhythm. My kingdom for the remake of this last one…
