Epic Mickey was a highly anticipated title for the Nintendo Wii, but it never lived up to its pre-release concept. It’s amazing that it’s been almost 15 years since the title’s debut, so there’s been enough time for nostalgia to build around this classic platformer. It feels like the right time for Epic Mickey Rebrushed on PS5 and PS4.
In addition to the completely remastered graphics, the game will also feature gyroscopic controls on Sony systems, taking advantage of the original version’s motion controls. There will also be a photo mode, allowing you to capture the stunning landscapes from the version. Honestly, we can’t wait to return to this game, removed from the unreachable hype surrounding the original.
It’s the latest in a long line of titles offering Early Access to those who pre-order, so you can play 24 hours early if you drop now.
