Emeet Pixy review

The world of 4K webcams seems to be a jump and border over the past year. Despite this, 4K is still mostly an unnecessary solution for webcams that can now operate. Because some applications do not support even 4K and other applications (looking at you, Discord), requiring paying more for the privilege, many of the 4K webcams are running to 1080p. Even if you want to buy it to make movies, it would probably be better with something more devoted, because the 4K camera is certainly a slightly niche choice.

However, we are slowly starting to achieve price balance, and some 4K cameras are completely decent in 1080p mode. For the first time I was hit by this feeling when I tested the Tiny 2 Lite Service, and now with Emeet Pixy, I feel it again.

For 160 USD/146 GBP, you not only get 4K resolution using a Sony sensor, but you get tracking AI, as well as a whole load of neat functions. Pixy is not only a 4K BABONES webcam; It offers many other reasons to get one, and some of them are really convincing.

Emeet Pixy is equipped with double cameras: one 4K picture camera and one camera supported by AI for better aiming and focusing. Sounds neat in the concept, but whether this project will stick to will depend on performance, and I can say that autofocus and aiming feel as exact as a compact 2 lite.

In fact, two webcams have comparable cameras around the world. They both have a hand gesture based on artificial intelligence, both are placed on a gimbal to allow them to spin, and both offer 4K in a relatively budget package.

When it comes to image quality, I prefer Tiny 2 Lite. Placed side by side, with both photos, I think Emeet is a slightly more saturated and more washed. The lines seem sharper, red are darker and the lights are x -ray. This is definitely a preference here, but I like a more neutral look that I can edit after the fact. If I want some sharpness, I would usually decide to improve this in the editor instead of having it in the RAW file.

However, Pixy has elements that seem more clear. Although my hair in my neglected beard looks more clear and less blurred than small 2 lite, and a sense of depth with two cameras that are noticeable in the recordings. Both webcams record solid and stable quality, although I prefer Lite 2.

I decided that the color correction was a bit more tough with Emeet RAW files than with Tina 2 Lite, and even an attempt to adapt them in the right software could not achieve emergency between these two images.

Pixy is very uncomplicated to configure. It is equipped with a demanding, bulky stand that translates into the upper part of the monitor, and you can play a webcam at the top. This means that you can technically stick it to a tripod if you want, which makes him a real choice as a webcam for Nintendo Switch 2.

However, I think it’s a bit bulky. Pixy sits over a stand (because you can not only choose it), which makes it hang awkwardly over the mountain. On the absolutely huge ASUS ROG PG48UQ, which I exploit at work, it does not look too large. However, sitting on a 16-inch game laptop, the screen is swaying.

At meetings, the quality of the microphone in Pixy is surprisingly solid. You can exploit it at a quick meeting, and most would not notice what is about what you can hope for in the microphone in the online camera.

Emeet Studio is a decent, though quite basic software bit that allows you to adapt where Pixy looks, as well as add effects, change the location of the gimbal and replace between resolution. The most misleading part of the software is to determine which one is for Pixy, because Emeet has a huge selection of software available to all its webcams.

Marketing materials for Emeet Pixy emphasize the integration of generating AI scripts, and this has a form of access to chatbot. In the EMEET application itself, you can click a compact script generation card, which can ask about twins, Claude, Chat GPT and GROK. You effectively give him hints, and he will generate a script, which you then read when registering with a webcam.

It is equipped with six pre -generated hints for scripts (but you can write your own) and spit out information about the camera position, scale of shots and narrative. This information can be fully collected only by exporting them. This means that from beginning to end you need to click the generation field, generate a script etc. Export data, and then open the Excel spreadsheet and read from it.

This is effectively injection of chatbot to the program and is somehow less intuitive than just using Google to open chatgpt or a similar competitor. I even recommend writing your own scripts.

Considering that the scripts that I recovered from it were not the highest quality, it is not exactly intuitive, and the attractiveness of YouTube and similar video platforms is their authenticity, I could not honestly recommend it. Ai used in tracking is good; The second part of AI is not. Like Tiny 2 Lite, from time to time he grabs the face of someone else in the PC Gamer office and follows them, but focusing on me is not really a problem.

One thing that stopped me was the lack of any privacy filter. If you want the camera to look elsewhere, when it is turned on, you must physically lose it. He may try to withdraw again, assuming that he accidentally fell, but maintaining it soon solves this problem. It also has blue lightweight, so soon I learned to tune it up. You can also make the webcam automatically introduce the privacy mode after a certain time through the software if you are a bit of paranoik.

For twenty dollars less than the Tina 2 Lite, Emeet Pixy, emeet pixy as the best high -class webcam. Ultimately, if it was my money on the line, I would take a smaller frame and smoother image quality Tina 2 for a little more. I could also easily maintain a compact sale.
