If you see a shark girl Ellen Joe on the street after unlocking the trust function with her, she will want to talk to you – but only certain answers will strengthen your relationship Ground Zero without Zen.

By increasing your Trust you will earn Polychromes, as well as materials that boost skills, certain bonuses in Hollows, and – most importantly – the ability to set this character as your background on the menu screen.

Below is a list of the best answers to respond to when talking to Ellen at her Trust Events and Trust Event Invitations.

Ellen Joe trusts events best answers in Zenless Zone Zero

If you see Ellen’s portrait on your navigation screen, it means she’s waiting nearby for a potential trust event. Approaching her and talking to her when she has the grey ellipses above her head will earn you some trust, though you have to be careful – answering the wrong answers can reduction Your trust.

Below we list possible Ellen locations and the best answers to answer to gain trust. Keep in mind that not every request will inspire trust, even if you choose a seemingly favored answer, so we only list answers that will inspire your trust.

There are still a few trust events missing as we are still working on resolving them(It’s a lot of trial and error with a daily limit, so it’s taking us a while.) We’ll be updating this guide with more answers to trust event questions as we find them.

God Finger (Sixth Street)

When Ellen asks, “Can I ask… When was the last time you weighed yourself?” reply, “Not so long ago“, to boost trust.

Hotpot Restaurant (Lumina Square)

Your answers don’t matter here until the last command where it says “…” in which case you have to answer “I was just doing what you said…“to boost confidence.

Repair Shop (Sixth Street)

Ellen will tell you how to get you a gift. Only the second hint counts. When she says, “Otherwise… don’t you think it’s weird that I’ve never gotten you anything, even though we’re friends?” reply, “Thank you, Ellen“to boost trust.

Waterfall Soup (Lumina Square)

Outside of Waterfall Soup, Ellen will be besieged by girls asking for pictures. When she says “Yaaay…!”, reply with another “Hooray!” for a significant boost in confidence. The answers after that don’t matter.

Lumina Gallery (Lumina Square)

Ellen will be standing in front of the shopping mall in Lumina Square. She will ask “Proxy… When was the last time you went to karaoke?” to which you will have to answer “Lately“, to boost trust.

Ellen Trust Invite the best answers in Zenless Zone Zero

If you DM Ellen, you can meet her at one of four locations on Sixth Street. This will boost trust no matter what at the end, but some specific answers will earn you bonus points.

‘Time! Choose!’ (Waterfall Soup) best answers

When Ellen asks, “What kind of soup would you like?”, your trust will boost significantly if you choose to answer, “Broth with ice noodles.” The other options will just give you a regular trust boost. You will also get an additional trust boost at the end of the conversation.

“Does Shark Thirens need two tickets?” (404 Live) best answers

There are two examples of increased trust that emerge from this conversation, but neither is particularly significant.

The first request is your only option: “Do you want it to be discreet?”, which will boost your trust.

The second question is when she says, “I knew I should have gotten an extra ticket…” It doesn’t matter which option you choose – either “You could have put your tail next to me” or “I could have hugged your tail for you.”” will give you a significant confidence boost once the cutscene ends.

“Are these really just snacks?” (141 Convenience) best answers

No choice matters unless a snack needs to be recommended.

When Ellen asks, “Oh, so… do you have any snack recommendations?” you should I recommend a tasty snack for an immediate trust boost. Once the interaction is over, you’ll gain another trust boost (even if you tell her to eat a questionable snack).

When Ellen asks “What’s your password?” answer “I thought you knew“, to boost trust.

The remaining answers do not matter because in any case you will feel a significant boost in trust at the end of the conversation.
