The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom contains plenty of twists from other games. Players take on the role of Princess Zelda, not the green-clad hero Link. While playing, Zelda wields not the iconic Master Sword, but a magical staff that allows her to copy and paste objects and creatures. However, there is at least one key aspect that has not changed: mowing the grass. And now I’m in love with the way you mow lawns Echoes of Wisdom.
Grass isn’t just a way to decorate the scenery in The Legend of Zelda games. Many entries in the series feature a special type of grass that Link – and now Zelda – can mow to collect items such as rupees, bombs, and hearts. According to dedicated “grass” page. on the Zelda fan wiki, the object has been part of the series for a long time A link to the past which Nintendo released in 1991.
In the Zelda era, there were plenty of ways to cut the grass. You can throw a bomb to clear the place or if you are playing such a game Tears of the Kingdomyou can simply set it on fire with a torch or fire arrow. But cutting it with a sword is a proven way to cut grass; you can unleash Link’s normal combo, or you can clear the entire area with a spin dash. And now I’m content to announce that there’s a development team behind it Echoes of Wisdom retained the time-honored Zelda gameplay.
Just press the R button and Zelda will release a vortex that will cut through the grass. It doesn’t require charging and when you press the button it spins a few times and the movement is phenomenal. You don’t feel the start and stop feeling that comes with cutting as Link and you keep zipping along. When it moves, you can run around the area, spin around, and pick up items as they appear. This move reminds me a lot of Deku Link’s transformation Majora’s Maskexcept you don’t have to play tender peel and no special mask or item is required to utilize it.
Overall, this is one of the best lawn mowing games in a Zelda game to date. The only thing better than what Echoes of Wisdom would provide copy-paste for a real lawn mower – enter Nintendo.
