If you are walking happily through Hollow Knight: Silksong at the moment, not care in the world, you may want to prepare. Because in addition to the ordinary Silksong board of super-progress bosses who will make the corpse meet over and over again, there is one very early enemy of the miniboss, which causes many players a whole lot of trouble.
WARNING: Very diminutive spoilers for a miniboss from an early bone marrow game appear below. Don’t read more if you don’t want to know anything about any of the enemies of the game.
The miniboss in question is so diminutive by the game that it does not appear with the name on the screen, which makes Google challenging to get stuck on him. But his name is Skaarrgard and is a bulky, red roback, who runs a enormous piece of bones like a weapon. You can find it in a cave on the east side of the bone marrow, just above the prison.
Skaarrgard seems random when you are the first to approach him, as is a slightly more challenging enemy. But this guy really has people on a tilt. He has three attacks: one in which the underground disappears and appears on the attack, jump attack and one in which the bone turns. It has a real range of this bone weapon, and because the tunnel is so diminutive, most of his movements are very challenging, if not impossible, jump over. What’s more, his attacks hit Two whole damage masks instead of only one.
There are two ways to overcome Skargard, an basic road and on their own skin. It is a challenging path to continue the exercises and ultimately overcome (see our Red Ant Ant Mini Boss strategy guide to beat him thoroughly). You can lure him a bit with a narrow tunnel so that he cannot attack the jump more, and if you run next to him every time he goes underground, you can jump a little in the middle of the room, taking careful swings and ultimately bring him.
But I recommend an basic way to come back later. In the end you will receive the ability of Dash, which makes it A lot It is easier to avoid his hits and it looks like you have such a skill before you challenge Skargard. Even if you are tempted by a juicy reward for killing him earlier, maybe don’t worry? The reward for fighting him is that he unlocks access to a recent area, and if you fight it early, you probably have many others to discover that are not hidden behind the giant, drum man.
Either way, good luck with this guy. For many, it is much more challenging than any of the early silksong bosses, so don’t feel discouraged if you die very much before you finally win.
Hollow Knight: Silksong is already available and we are working tough on our Wiki guides everything you may want to know when you start adventures in Pharloom. We also have a review in which we have been thinking that we will update the result as soon as we finish the game.
