Are you wondering how to enter a deep desert in Awakening Dune? The deep desert is a giant PvP and PVE game zone, which exists outside the corners of a normal map and is intended for high -level players who need a challenge. You will not be able to reach the deep desert up to several hours of waking up the dunes, and when you are there, you will have to fight hundreds of players fighting for supremacy of spices when Coriolis Storms wipe the landscape every week.
In this guide we will tell you what you have to do to reach the deep desert in Dune Awakening. We will also offer some general tips on survival in the desert.
Dune Awakening: How to enter a deep desert
To enter a deep desert, you need to do the following:
- Get an ornitopter.
- Fly to the world map.
- Travel to a deep desert in the north and select the entrance.
In more detail, you first need an ornitopter to reach the deep desert, which becomes available only after going beyond the borders on the usual map. You will not be able to do it with land vehicles such as Pandbike or Buggy, because at the corners of the map there are sands and patches to swallow you.
When you have an ornitopter, lie to one of the edges of the map – north, south, east or west. Finally, you will come across a blue barrier and a message asking if you want to travel to the world map. Confirm this and you will be on the map of the Dune Awakening hub, which allows you to travel quickly to all main locations, including cities such as Arakeen.
The deep desert lies in the far north world maps and contains three different entrances, marked by purple lines under the desert marker. Each entrance will take you to a slightly different southern point on the map of a deep desert – if you play solo, you can simply choose any entrance, but if you play with friends, it helps coordinate the entrance to utilize. After selecting the entrance, it will appear in a deep desert next to the ornitopter.
Deep desert tips
The deep desert offers many awards, including the chances of breeding materials at a high level, such as titanium red, as well as many opportunities for non -suspected players. To survive, get acquainted with these general tips:
- The deep desert contains both PvP and PVE zones – to determine which zone you are currently, direct your eyes to the upper right part of the screen to see the description. When flying, pay attention to the messages of “Changes in the zone” that seem to mean the difference in the territory. As a rule, the PVE zones are located in the south of the map.
- It does not look right away, but the deep desert is actually a region based on tiles divided into 81 different tiles. Each tile can be scanned with a probe, granting experience points and scanning the entire deep desert is a long (but coherent) way to acquire XP without resorting to craft and fight.
- The configuration of the deep desert tiles is regularly reset using Coriolis storms. These storms start every week (currently on Tuesday morning), and you will be notified when the storm is to reach the screen. When deep desert cloths occur, all PVE instances scattered over the map (such as test zones and wrecks) are replaced by fresh areas. The location of resource changes and all bases, vehicles and other items that you left in the desert will be destroyed. With this in mind, it’s best to avoid building bases in the desert when you know that Coriolis is coming.
- If you enter a deep desert, make sure you are equipped with a navigation lighthouse in case everyone in the PvP zone killed you, Still to avoid storms, fuel cells of the vehicle to prevent gas lifts and lithium. The deep desert reaches a balmy heat level 5, which means you really have to take enormous water with you.
- A deep desert is a great place to harvest spices. Repeat your eyes on purple spices that scattered on the map, indicating the full spice of the resource patch below. You should potentially wear a Thumper to divert attention to sandwiches that may appear when conducting harvest, and you will also need a unchanging compactor to suck the spice. Usually, enormous spices in a deep desert are a habitat for PVP, so be careful.
