Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has the largest lineup in the history of the 3D arena fighting series, but some players still want more. Specifically, more costumes, accessories, and other ways to customize their icons DBZ warrior looks, including shirts and jackets inspired by deep cuts from anime’s long history.
One of the most sought-after outfits is Goku’s pre-Cell Games sweatshirt, which he wears in his free time before the tournament. Another is Piccolo’s yellow “Postboy” shirt, which he wears in the Trunks Saga episode where he and Goku try to get their driver’s license. Not only is the streetwear silhouette a fan favorite, but it also showcases the character’s more casual sides and expresses a range of personalities beyond standard combat attire.
The Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero the subreddit has fans often scratching his head why a game that has tons of fans in other areas is missing these key costumes. Some fear that this simply means that Bandai Namco plans to make each up-to-date style available for months and years by constantly providing microtransaction additions, as is the case with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Sparkle Zero seems to be final DBZ sim, but no DBZ the sim is complete without more extensive dressing options.
Name some modders who will at least bring some of these costume changes to the PC version of the game. Piccolo Postboy outfit was added to the GameBanana mod repository yesterday. There is also a mod for Pink Vegeta “Badman” button-up. in NexusMods. Of course, many other outfits are still missing, such as Goku and Vegeta’s “SAB” winter jackets from Dragon Ball Super: Broly Kai Gohan’s movie and outfit from the Buu Saga.
I can forgive the lack of some of these in the game at launch, but too many of the best alternate costumes seem MIA these days. I have no intention of paying for all of them if they are introduced later. However, it would be more satisfying if they could all be unlocked tardy in the game.
