This is the day when players around the world have been waiting for years: Hollow Knight: Silksong It is official to be launched at 7 am PT / 10.00 ET / 3PM BST / 10.00 CEST.
As with every enormous version of the game, players willingly load the title so that they can dive in a second when they become available without the need to wait for a potentially long download.
Although currently there is no basic way to do it on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox owners can get Hollow Knight: Silksong Previously loaded with this little trick.

You can now preaload Silksong on Xbox (not Silkpost!) With R/silksong
All you need is the Xbox console (be it Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S), a mobile phone with an Xbox application installed and an busy subscription of the Xbox Game Pass card.
Just open the application, log in if necessary, and then go to the Pass Game Xbox card. Scroll down until you see the “Arrival to the game” section and find Hollow Knight: Silksong On the list.
Tap the icon and then press the button to install it on the console. If you have not yet connected the Xbox console and application, you will do it at this stage, so follow the instructions on the screen.
After all, you can start the console and see it Hollow Knight: Silksong Downloads.
Personally, I tested this method and I can confirm that it works for me here in Great Britain using my Android phone, although this does not seem to be a deliberate movement of the Cherry programmers team that may differ.
It should also be remembered that this will not let you play the game early. You will still have to wait for the official premiere time.
