The recent year is here, and it looks like game developers believe that amidst all the spring cleaning and remodeling, you’ll be itching for a bit of digital renovation, too. Following the earlier announcement this week of Architect Life: A Design Simulator, now it’s the turn of your abandoned local sports arena, with Goat Gamez’s Sports Renovations coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on March 27.
Published by Dear Villagers, Sports Renovations will put you on the path to sports arena remodeling stardom as you have to repair a series of dingy, dilapidated and graffiti-covered arenas and training facilities, using a variety of tools to get them back up to code and ready to start your journey by the next generation of sports stars.
There are loads of different tools out there, and you can grab a little bit of Powerwash Simulator to lend a hand you spotless up while also giving you what looks like an incredibly satisfying vacuum cleaner to pick up debris. In addition, there is a bucket into which you can throw garbage and plenty of paint that you can apply to paint the walls of your facility.
The trailer shows just how messy things get at the start, as well as a possible end product with shiny recent objects that look absolutely fantastic. You can also design and arrange everything in your facility, placing rowing machines, exercise bikes and weight racks in the right place for your imaginary gym buddies.
The extra content looks phenomenal, and there’s plenty of historical sports memorabilia, from posters to trophies and even radio broadcasts, giving you an insight into sports history unlike anything else. This sounds like an amazing idea and I can’t wait to check it out when the game releases on March 27.
