Echoes of Destiny 2 Episodes is the first episode to hit the game and will be a groundbreaking moment for fans eager to experience the up-to-date narrative that will become the norm in Year 10. However, before you can play, there will be a server outage.
NO Destiny 2 update is available without any server maintenance or downtime. It’s simply part of the game, as it’s always online, and developer Bungie needs to be able to add up-to-date files to it without disturbing players. You won’t be able to play during this downtime, but it should be tiny, if Bungie’s notes are to be believed. I wouldn’t hold my breath, though, because the launch Final shape it wasn’t perfectly polished.
When will the server downtime occur? Destiny 2 Episode Echo Act 2 beginning and end?
Server outage Destiny 2 Episode Echo Act 2 will start at 6:45 a.m. Pacific Time, July 16, 2024. Bungie Explained that the downtime will end at July 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, but background maintenance will continue until 12:00 PM Pacific Time on July 16, 2024..
Game server maintenance will start 45 minutes before the downtime, so I expect errors to occur during that time. This means you should really expect 4 hours of downtime Destiny 2 before restarting the servers.
After that the game should be playable as we will be in the weekly reset time. Based on how smoothly act 1premiere was, I would say this update should be done in no time and players should be allowed in as soon as the maintenance is over. The only problem I had with act 1 There were too many players trying to get into the game at once, so I had to wait in line for a while.
What is Echoes of Destiny 2 Episodes?
Echoes of Destiny 2 Episodes introduces a up-to-date threat to the game. After killing the Witness, pieces of Darkness energy are fired into the system. These will be the narratives we explore in Destiny 2 from now on, when Echoes of the Witness will land on nearby planets.
This first Episode revolves around an Echo that fell to Nessus and found its way to Vex. There’s a up-to-date threat, an enemy of Vex that we can talk to, and both Vex and Nessus have been irrevocably changed by this presence.
The episode adds a up-to-date three-player activity and story to explore, and a few up-to-date items to collect as you play. More content will be added every six weeks across three acts, so there really is a lot to look forward to in this story.
act 1 introduced us to a more peaceful universe where Vanguard tries to find out what’s going on on Nessus, working with Failsafe to do so. Act 2 should focus on The Conductor. This enemy is a sort of Echo of the Witness and Vex, controlling creatures with strange collars. We don’t know his intentions yet, but this second act should lay them bare.
