Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Preview: Solid work on the revival of the classic military campaign FPS

Delta Force Delta Force: Hawk Ops Revival has always planned to be an ambitious attempt of a state-of-the-art military shooter in three separate flavors: a multi -person tactical team; Escape from the extraction shooter inspired by Tarkov; and a focused, high -energy campaign for one player. War and operational modes launched last year for mainly a positive party, but a one-player-player campaign of the original Black Hawk Down game inspired by a book from 1999, which inspired the film from 2001-was in the oven that cooked many of many of many of intrigue. In the end I spent some time with a compact selection of the mission before it launched, and although I can safely say that he really captures the spirit of the oldschool shooting campaign, there are still enough questions without answering that carefully bullish is the only answer I could think of after with this.

People who did not play the original game 20 years ago to compare it with the state-of-the-art interpretation of Team Jade, because currently there are no copies of the venerable PC, PS2 and Xbox computer are becoming more and more scarce every year. But I was one of those people who waded in the waves of the military shooter revolution – the first call of Duty began in the same year as Black Hawk Down, and Battlefield 1942 fell a year earlier. But I clearly remember how Black Hawk Down had several distinctive functions of the game that really raised the bar for the whole genre. It contained vast, extensive levels of levels that offer many ways to approach goals. Some mission sequences would change dramatically depending on the current task, taking you at the back of Humvee at the foot distance with ambushes to a hasty escape through a helicopter, all in the same chapter. And the physics of bullets and weapon operation, in particular more realistic bullet speeds, drops of bullets, mortality and jet, made the skirmishes less arcaded and more threatening. Black Hawk Down Novalogic, mixed with an absolutely droughty control point, was one of the most arduous games in this genre.

The Jade Black Hawk Down team certainly comes from the respect for the venerable game, obvious in the way they try to capture this venerable style of shooting in their missions, as well as in the effusive director of the game Praise Shadow and designer Novak at the second venerable work. “When we played in cafes so many years ago, it was stunning,” said Joe Meng, head of PR Team Jade, explaining on behalf of Shadow.

This black Jastrząb certainly comes from the place of honor for the venerable game.

Playing the first mission in which we infiltrated the city in search of an enemy fortress via a roof from a nearby building, a tense fire exchange between my team of four (all ridge by other people in the cooperative), and the enemies proved that this proved that they proved the maintenance of threatening shells was the highest priority in their translation. It did not take us much dangerously low health, and health did not restore a bit outside the fight. Only specific health repairs could bring us back to the shape of the shipment, and only doctors – one of the four available classes to choose from – they could provide them.

When we went out into the street, the progress became slightly less linear. This is not a map of the open world and there was a clear goal that we had to infiltrate, but the path seemed open. My team, divided into pairs, left on both sides of the street, following some colleagues from the NPC team in the settlement of buildings, which we donated on the way to the goal, in this case the hotel under the control of rebels, who kept hostages somewhere in the building. We entered the building through the front, where the hardest fire was exchanged from a lobby square into our rooted place in the entrance. We could find a side door and also try to flank the shooters from the lobby, I learned later and although you have no levels of freedom, it is refreshing that if this black hawk has arduous points of the gland, the answer may consist of finding a safer route. Shadow mentioned that the feeling of relief and reward for overcoming opportunities was a feeling of driving in the project and it was a great example.

This mission was a bit more linear than the next one we tried, which caused us to run through the claustrophobic town of Shanta, which tried to get to broken Black Hawk helicopters. The pace and surroundings of the mission were very similar to the Heroes Original Heroes mission, in which players had to navigate players, releasing that genial soldiers from the upcoming militia stuck. They both used the maze as an advantage for enemies who could jump out of turns without warning, but where the original you distinguished members of enemy militia from dissatisfied civilians (punishing you for hurting the latter), this updated mission treated everyone in branched streets or dusty markets that You were not an enemy.

The Jade’s Take team adds snipers who can shoot players from distant distances from the relative safety of the clock tower a few blocks, operate state-of-the-art environmental design trends so that the city is dense with compact, open sketches and streets for navigation, and control points that narrow throat extensive districts in points of rooted resistance, in which further assault is necessary direct. It was here that the difficulty was the most intense, because the enemies appeared from all directions, constantly moving, at the same time covered with buildings and carefully looking for angles that will surprise us.

However, I missed the details that it is necessary to show the appearance of the trigger discipline in these conditions. Certainly it was addictive and entertaining, but even in the face of the obvious danger it seemed a step back from this kind of provocative design of the original. In our circumscribed test, we tried only two of the seven missions in the campaign, but none of them gave a sense of lively scenario, like the River River Original, which begins as a journey in the desert, turns into a crazy paddź by car through the minefield, and then transforms in a metal 3-sessque topeto through the Somali River full of crocodiles, and then finally ends A multi -stage raid to the village. Of course, this or something equally energetic can be in the full three-to-four-hour campaign and I will not skip the dedication of the remake to the brave of the original mission design before it arises on February 21.
