I am really broken that I report it, but Akatsuki Games has just announced it Nine tribe enters the end of service. After years of development, this extremely unique RPG Gacha began on February 20, 2025, flowing into the live, pixed city of Neo Tokyo.
From the mind of Kodak (creators of Danganronp games) and developed by Games Kyo and Akatsuki games, Tribe Nine follows the story of Yo Kuronak and his friends when they fight the cartoon bad zero and his groups of numbers, questioning a series of fatal games, including – but is not circumscribed to – extreme baseball.
After an extremely successful beta version (about which you can read in my Nine preview in the tribe), the game recorded a slightly rocky premiere at the beginning of this year, because the players were initially rejected by the steep rates of Gacha Tribe Nine and the apparent “bait and switch”, in which a significant part of the free currency with Beta Sappaper in full edition.
However, developers listened to feedback and quickly reversed the game, offering much more free currency, reimbursement of premium currency and making the gacha rates much more generous. Unfortunately, it seems that the rates were a bit too generous, like plays Reported revenues He contracted the dramatic amount over the next months. This drastic decrease in profit also aroused fear among players who began to feel that little was used in a game expenditure, which is already likely to support life.
Despite this, the Tribe nine quickly grew a niche, but an incredibly dedicated community, and after the decline in the first immense Tribe Nine update last month I could not stop hoping that at least we would see how we stayed for a year or two. The story is really intriguing and I was very excited, seeing what happened, and in addition I was very willing to collect the upcoming nine characters (especially my beloved Fucho Sonoda – I could honestly dolphin for him).
Unfortunately, my dreams of the construction of the most broken fucho in Neo Tokyo were interrupted, like Akatsuki games announced This The service for Tribe Nine will be resolved on November 27, 2025 – just over nine months after it is started. Almost poetic, really.
In addition, the announcement also states that there will be no further update of the game, which means that we will not be able to see the previously announced Ch. 4 stories, Ichinosuke and Saizo Akiba come to the game, and none of the fresh functions, adaptations or known corrections will be implemented.
While writing was on the wall, and the dismissal of Gach’s games is now far from rarity-yesterday Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is canceled-Nadal I can’t refrain from the fact that I am incredibly melancholy because of this. Nine Tribe really got stuck in a sea of games such as Genshin Impact (if I love Genshin), and I had high hopes for the future of the game. It is even more melancholy thanks to the wonderful answers that we received in our interview for the Nine tribe, including “unfortunate fear of EO”.

Fortunately, we had a few months to say goodbye to Yo and Gang, and Akatsuki’s games confirmed the returns if you bought any paid currency for the upcoming characters. I just hope that one day we will see the history of the Nine tribe, preferably through the offline premium game, but at least I would be satisfied with Mana.
On the other hand, when I mourn the loss of another brilliant RPG with such high potential, there are at least many exhilarating fresh mobile games on the horizon. We even have the release date of Persona 5 x confirmed for the next month. Perhaps Phantom Thieves will be able to fill the garbage -shaped hole in my heart.
