Well, it’s Friday and you know what that means! No, not that. This means we’ll be taking a look at some underrated releases you may not have heard of. We think there are more than a few of them and this time it’s the rapid and fantastic Dandy Ace!
Available for purchase on iOS and Android for $9.99, Dandy Ace puts you in the perfectly tailored shoes of a magician trying to escape the world of mirrors. To do this, he must defeat the Green-Eyed Illusionist Lele, who has imprisoned him, and you must jump into the roguelike action to aid him.
Dandy Ace isn’t afraid to put roguelite action at the forefront. Lele Castle will be constantly changing and you will have a set of magical cards to choose from. As you progress through each run, you will slowly gain the upgrades and skills needed to finally thwart the castle.

With a colorful aesthetic and a truly dandy player character, it’s straightforward to see the inspirations that Dandy Ace wears on his sleeve. At the same time, it’s refreshing to see the roguelike/roguelite format in such a fanciful and rather fun package.
Dandy Ace offers completely redesigned controls and user interface compared to the original version, created specifically for mobile devices. So if you want to feel special while kicking ass and taking names (or cards), Dandy Ace might be just what you need this coming weekend.
