CyberVerse has unveiled a novel multiplayer gaming hub, expanding the cyberpunk MMORPG with free mini-games that include game and monetization mechanics and multi-chain Web3 features.

The Hub is now live on the Ronin and Ergo blockchains, setting the stage for the upcoming Apartment NFT pre-sale from November 27 to December 5 and creating a bridge towards the Steam Early Access release scheduled for 2025.

Hub features and gameplay experience

The novel multiplayer gaming hub integrates several mini-games based on skill and strategy in the open CyberVerse environment. Players have access to games including Racer (2D time trial), Wolf and Sheep (hunter vs. prey survival match), Archer (skill shooting gallery), and Rocket Rush (vertical climbing competition). These actions are there available without admission fees in both solo and multiplayer formats.

All mini-games are integrated into the in-game economy where you can earn money, which allows players to play Earn crypto rewards and NFT drops by participating in various in-game activities such as crafting, trading, and grinding in the city of Cyberia.

According to eGamers.io: :

“The Hub, powered by the Ronin and Ergo blockchain networks, is designed to elevate the player experience by integrating comprehensive gaming activities directly into the CyberVerse ecosystem.”

Players will have to connect your digital wallets to participate and transfer resources between gameplay and on-chain systems. The core gameplay loop deliberately transforms game progress into tradable items and token flows, creating potential liquidity and profit opportunities for traders and treasuries engaging in the game’s markets.

Blockchain Integration and Upcoming NFT Sale

CyberVerse runs on the platform multi-chain architecture based on Ronin and Ergowith its recent expansion to Cardano. The multiplayer gaming hub is specifically available on Ronin (an Ethereum sidechain designed for reduced fees and increased bandwidth) and Ergo.

From The pre-sale of 500 NFT Apartments will begin at 8 p.m November 27 to December 5the price of each apartment is $RON 100. These NFTs will give owners access to:

  • Private in-game hubs
  • Locations for mining platforms in the game
  • Improved guild features
  • Access to a private testing environment in December

The creators have stated that there will be revenue from the sale of these NFTs reinvested in feature developmentby aligning investor financing with the product roadmap. However, security concerns remain significant as the Ronin Network has previously suffered major breaches – amounting to approximately $615 million in March 2022 and $12 million in August 2024 – which highlighted potential vulnerabilities in the sidechain architecture.

For traders and crypto vaults, CyberVerse offers novel token and NFT opportunities, but also focuses counterparty and technical risk around Ronin-based systems.

The platform’s play-to-earn design generates tradable supply and fee income, while supply-limited NFT suites may impact near-term demand for RON.
