CD Projekt Programmer Cyberpunk 2077 issued a strange teasing at the University-from the date set on September 4, later this week. Since then, the message has caused a number of fans’ theories – and debate about the canon of franchise.
This afternoon, a message appeared on social channels for recent US citizens (Nusa) published by President Rosalind Myers.
Of September 4, 2025, in three days, Post asks for “brave netruners” for facilitate in defending the Nus against the “growing threat to cyber security”, performing some recruitment test. What exactly it means, made fans uncertain.
To start with, some fans are wondering if the message-who of course actually comes with CD Projekt Red-Uruchomi was a few days earlier and did this indicate a kind of early signing up to information about Cyberpunk 2. Or maybe the message now seems that something is happening with something that is happening on September 4, and this is the beginning of the argument?
There is also the fact that this is a message about the university from President Rosalind Myers-who does not become president only in 2065 (as quickly noticed Cyberpunk fans, the current president should be Elizabeth Kress.) Did myers come up with, how to send the message in time? Is this a reticing of the established franchise knowledge? Or maybe it’s just a amusing message from CD Projekt, in which fans should not read so much? Well, if this is the latter, it’s too overdue.
On cyberpunk RedditSpeculation of fans about what to expect this week includes Cyberpunk 2 details, more information about the iPhone Cyberpunk 2077 Port iPhone 2077, fresh news about the recent spin-off-z anime spin-off edgerunners 2, or even more content for Cyberpunk 2077-which is still working through the studio Virtuos.

Here is today’s mysterious statement of President Rosalind Myers in full:
Message for Nus citizens September 4, 2025
Our great nation once again stands in the face of a growing threat to cybersecurity – from those who hide in the shade, too cowardly to publicly proclaim their beliefs, which are brutally determined to destroy our flag and values that they maintain. I will not accept it and I know that you are not either.
Nusa is looking for brave Netrunners to join our efforts and overcome this sedate threat. Our brave agents work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our country, keep its dominance and defend him against those who are elated to undermine it. Now you can join us in our fight for freedom. Personally, welcome everyone who believes they have what they need.
Perform our recruitment test. Prove yourself. Nusa
The fans pointed to the fact that the associate director of the Game of Cyberpunk 2, Pawel Sasko, also shared this post, suggesting that this actually changed in the right time and indicates something to do with the series of games itself. Others also noticed that Cyberpunk 2077 is somehow approaching its fifth anniversary in December – milestone CD Projekt can now plan to celebrate in some way.
It was contacted to get more details by Ign this afternoon, CD Projekt refused to comment on what could be in the store. I hope it brings more answers this week.
