In retro news: I’m celebrating my 11th birthday Mario and Luigi: Dream Teampurchase on 3DS that I’m glad I didn’t oversleep. Released in the Year of Luigi (celebrating its 30th anniversary), this sequel to the 2009 game Bowser’s Inside Story focused more on that L-shaped one. Aside from the always addictive leveling and gear grinding, I remember digging the Luiginary Attacks, Luiginoids, and Giant Luigi’s boss fights, as well as the bold novel art style that became the template for all future entries, such as the upcoming Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood which I’ll probably also have a lot of fun with.
