When the time has come to choose a game mouse, it is essential to consider exactly what kind of games you want to do with it. If you are going to be a professional sniper with Pixel Perfect Flick Shots, which your needs will probably be slightly different than the MMO player, who maximally uses your renewal potential. Looking at the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE, it seems clear, after which so many attached mice will land, but the wild possibilities of these tasks show rodents, which can be ready for anything.
Scimitar Elite SE with Corsair is a wireless asymmetrical mouse cracking with buttons and functions. Visually, this is a bulky MMO mouse, but the arches are welcomed in your hand and is not too ponderous at 161 g. It receives a typical left and right mouse button, scrolling wheel and the DPI button, as well as the Corsair logo on the back under the hand. On the left, where your thumb is located, in place they become a bit more captivating, thanks to four on three panels of programmable buttons providing the world of options.
The panel can be moved there and back and blocked on the spot to conveniently with a screw at the bottom of the mouse. The latter is of course the most captivating here, because it unlocks such a huge potential that goes beyond low games. Of course, you can still do this by programming the buttons for performing standard keyboard functions, but you also have macros, text, multimedia controls and others.

I wanted to start with my tests, so I assigned a few of these side buttons to numerical keys so that I could quickly turn the sockets into Fortnite. I turned off RGB lighting, because it seems rather pointless in this place, and then saved these changes in mice on one of its storage profiles, and closed Icue. Then I loaded the game and I was able to thumb these side buttons to go from Pickaxe to Slup juice without the need to scroll everything else. As an additional bonus, it seems responsive, and the optical switches have a satisfying click. All in all, it was a fairly basic scenario for Scimitar and could easily deal with it.
The next step must be macros, so I recorded that I jumped into a pony slide. It took a bit of the configuration as I would like, but a typical press action with many keys now only required my thumb press. The muscle memory training is definitely required to remember it and press the right button, but the separated buttons, the opposite textures and the mesh system facilitate the sense of the panel.
The buttons and macros are quite basic, but seeing how uncomplicated configuration and saving to scimitar is really encouraging. It is basic to assign different profiles for different games and change between them. But the real charm of this versatile pest is the integration of the stream deck.

Buy if …
✅ You are a streamer: Having a stream deck in the side of the mouse is much more useful than I expected, allowing more natural actions during your show.
✅ You wanted a stream deck: If you want, instead of mice, it is a bit great, and you will save cash on board with this peripheral two on one.
✅ You min/max. Every day: All these buttons can run the MMO renewal time, assign macros, paste the text and do basically everything you want. A real master of work and fun.
Don’t buy if …
❌ You want the fastest, youngest mouse: All these buttons are a slightly heavier mouse that some e-sport will not want.
Corsair is the mother company Elgato, so naturally, most of their products work really well. Where Scimitar is a fairly unique might, it is its ability to employ as basically a steam deck – a programmable device for the Elgato button. You will need software, but it gives the option to set the entire side panel, as if it was your own deck, which leads to a rather unique mouse control. In fact, it has more buttons than my stream mini and is basically the same size. This also makes the price of $ 140 to be super justified when you take into account that you get two devices here.
Obsessive integration was an obvious test for me. I have buttons on my stream deck, which basically start my streams for me. Things such as starting OBS, starting and ending the stream, swap between different scenes, effects and adjusting the volume between MIC and Game. Having everyone on the mouse means that I no longer have to move my hand to change, and everything seems to be an additional level of liquidity. Again, learning to employ is some effort, but when you start, it fits the memory of the gaming muscles and becomes the second nature, which can make the stream seem much more natural.
Thanks to this integration and its richness of programmable buttons, Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is a game mouse that does none of the others I have. He does it even better, while maintaining his position as a high -level game mouse with an excellent survey and reaction. It may not match the busy employ of e -sports mice oriented on lighter FPS, but it is productivity and streamly power.
