Today we are not missing for excellent and inexpensive liquid refrigerators in one or the best liquid refrigerators are extremely affordable below 100 USD, which means that Cooler Master has its job. But the cooling company makes a lot of good effort thanks to Masterliquid 360 Core II.
Masterliquid 360 Core II bundles the liquid cooler trend in 2025.: There is no screen stuck on the pump. In fact, there is no screen on this unit $ 100/£ 95. At the time of writing in Amazon, there is even a Coupon worth USD 15 to knock it down to USD 85, but I’m not sure how long it stays. This price puts Masterliquid 360 Core II in a competitive position with some of the best liquid coolers, such as recent and improved liquid freezer III 360 A-RGB USD 94.
I have a 360 mm model for review, because it is more or less the standard size of recent compilation of computer and has wide support in today’s best cases for computers. However, you can save another USD 15 on a smaller Masterliquid 240 Core II.
The 360 mm model is equipped with three MF 120 Lite ArgB fans. They exploit sleeve bearings, which means they are far from the model at the highest level. The good news is that they are not very thunderous in tests, they end with a similar volume to most liquid cooler. However, I test at a maximum fan speed, and they only reach 1750 pedestrians/min. It is a bit slower than some with similar noise levels, such as RS120 Corsaira with a value of 2100 rpm and contained on LCD Titan 360 RX.
Masterliquid 360 Core II Specifications:
These fans have Argb lighting, which shines through a translucent LED blades buried in the fan center. The overall effect is nothing special compared to some more brilliant models on the market, but these fans are quite alive. In the right case, they can look great and combine well with the infinity mirror effect on the pump unit.
The pump is relatively slim and low-profile compared to some on the market-when I look at you, Tryx. It contains the “Dual cell” G9R pump and the one who claims that the cooler master is able to “perform quietly”. This is not strictly true, it is not peaceful, but there is a relatively low noise.
I tested the pump without any other fans in the system to get a bead on its actual noise output and, true, I don’t have an acoustic chamber to test it with zero external noise, but my office is quite peaceful. He hit about 34 decibels, which is peaceful than the inexpensive Nautilus 360 RS Corsaira, but slightly louder than Titan 360 Rx LCD. In general, cooler pumps have appeared in recent years, and this is not particularly noticeable when the fans revive.
But what are the low noise levels without the highest cooling efficiency? The good news is that Masterliquid 360 Core II works extremely well in tests. With the lend a hand of Intel Core i7 14700K I placed him in his step in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Metro Exodus. Masterliquid often exceeded Corsair and NZXT models here, with the lowest average temperature at the Baldur 3 gate of seven radiator, which we tested over the past month.
The same good performance can be observed using our more demanding tests intensively by the processor. In X264, it maintains an average of 14700k to a moderate 78 ° C. This is star results in a very susceptible test. Through the 10-minute Cinebench R23 gear, Masterliquid manages to keep the chip to a very impressive 76 ° C. The time that required a return to the temperature of idle after Cinebench, is also decent after 140 seconds, which is equally with other capable liquid cooler.
14700K is a bit of a pork and the worst scenario for this liquid radiator. It works even better on a more reasonable chip. I left from 14,700 thousand Up to 120 W, and Masterliquid 360 Core II kept it below 50 ° C by Cinebench R23 for 10 minutes – these results are the best of my group in my tests.
As for the installation process, it is as plain as possible. Three fans are initially installed in the Push configuration, which works best on the installed exhaust configuration. The fans are connected with one cable for both Argb and PWM, and in the box there is an adapter to divide them back into PWM and ArgB connections to connect to the motherboard. This adapter cable is just over 600 mm long, a lot in most cases. The pump is also equipped with the ArgB connector and a DC fan header, and the first one can be attached to the same adapter as fans for one ArgB header connection with the motherboard.
The tube measures 400 mm, which is on the tiny side, but the nippy master contained two clips to keep them carefully arranged. Otherwise, the pump installation is plain. In my Intel system I had to fit the rear plate and throw some distances to keep it challenging, and then the radiator sits at the top of this and screwed with some thumbs. This is even easier in the AMD system. Remove the attached fastening of the radiator and screws in the replacement, and then the pump is on it.
Buy if …
✅ It can be found for less than a liquid frost -free Freezer: The liquid freezer III is a great nippy and excellent value for money, but the cooler master is also with him. If you can find it for less money, grab him.
Do not buy if …
❌ You want top -class fans: MF 120 Lite fans on a nippy master are effective in combination with the G9R pump, but there are better bearings and faster, quieter options.
The only main downside that is otherwise a plain installation is the lack of thermal paste. There are no pre -applied to the icy plate or there is no pipe in the box. Don’t forget to pick up a little!
Connect it all, and you look at the excellent liquid cooling, which does not break the bank. This is not the most brilliant, although it looks pretty good for the pump infinity and ArgB fans. The noise levels are reasonable and good to the ordinary extent for this radiator size. The only elephant in the room is Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360, a newer version of the excellent liquid freezer III. We do not have to test it yet, although the older model is still cooler to overcome on many of our charts.
Cooler Master Masterliquid 360 Core II does not knock the Arctic liquid freezer to the III with its perch, but is a great alternative. If you can find it for less, you should save pennies and pick them up.
