EA Sports has released a major update for College Football 25, bringing several changes and improvements to the overall gameplay, Dynasty and Ultimate Team modes.

The update brings a novel version of College Football Season 25 with a number of changes. It adds novel formations to team playbooks, stick shift delay settings, and fixes bugs like defenders slipping away through double coverage without the proper animation.

Dynasty players can now edit the ratings of non-NIL players and recruits, swap out their entire second unit or starting group at once, and more, while Ultimate Team players will see a myriad of issues fixed, including misaligned animations for player upgrades and returns, incorrectly displayed milestone progress, error messages when clicking Objectives in the Live Events tab, and more. The full patch notes are available below.

College Football 25 launched on July 16 as the highly anticipated return of the beloved sports franchise. It became a runaway hit, attracting a staggering 700,000 players in its first day of Early Access and a staggering 2.2 million by the end.

In our 7/10 review, IGN wrote, “College Football 25 packs a punch with on-field action thanks to a dynamic feel, great graphics, and a ton of smart gameplay tweaks. But much of what’s off the field feels unfinished, with UI issues and core modes that feel like they’re waiting for a revamp next season.”
