Chun-Li is such an incredibly popular Street Fighter character that she was always intended to be a key addition to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
And now that we’ve seen her in action in the SNK fighter, we can safely say that she promises to be a really great addition. It is scheduled for release later this year.
Like Ken, he closely follows his Street Fighter 6 counterpart, but here he has more turbo kicks than ever as he aggressively attacks his rival Mai.
Here is her blurb from the press release:
“Chun-Li, a battle-hardened Metro City agent, comes to South Town upon request to investigate the resurgence of an infamous crime syndicate. Few wolves here can match the strength, style and grace of this World Warrior – let alone defeat her outright. Perhaps the only person who can help her is the fiery kunoichi of the Shiranui clan.”
We also have to highlight the “tit kiss” in the trailer, which the real ones will remember referencing SNK vs Capcom promotional art from back in the day.
Chun-Li will have her own arcade ladder with cutscenes and story content, and if you’re craving more narrative, she’ll be playable in the titular South Town Episodes RPG mode.
She will also have a choice of both current and classic outfits.
