Dead in the lithe of dayBehaviour Interactive’s latest crossover, which brings Castlevania’s Dracula and Trevor Belmont together in Behaviour Interactive’s multiplayer survival game, is now available in public testing on Steam. Dead in the lithe of dayAs Behavior announced on Tuesday, the Castlevania chapter will officially launch on August 27.
Dracula is not just Dead in the lithe of dayThe first shapeshifting Killer, he is (somehow) the first vampire in a survival game. Castlevania’s Count can summon flames to burn his prey while in vampire form, and in bat form he can silently stalk Survivors and cover ground quickly. Dracula can also take the form of a wolf, hunting Survivors by their scent.

In a grand display, Dracula takes his entire damn castle with him Dead in the lithe of day. Whenever Dracula is the main killer in a game set in the original Dead in the lithe of day players will see his iconic castle towering over the horizon. (That means you won’t see Drac’s residence on licensed maps, such as those set in Dungeons & Dragons’ Forgotten Ruins or Stranger(The wreck of the Nostromo.)
On the opposite side Dead in the lithe of dayasymmetric multiplayer format is the recent Survivor Trevor Belmont. Behavior says Trevor’s skill set includes an “innate ability to seek out allies and work as a team” and unspecified but “unparalleled skills as a vampire hunter.” Trevor was first introduced in Konami’s Castlevania series in 1989 Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curseand this character appeared in subsequent games Castlevania: Curse of Darkness AND Castlevania Judgment.

Konami’s collaboration with Dead in the lithe of day is part of the company’s recent trend of lending out its characters and intellectual property — particularly to games inspired by Konami’s most renowned franchise. Castlevania downloadable content has been released for the action-RPG survival game V Growth and roguelike action Dead cells. Contra DLC was recently released for Vampire survivorsIn 2020, Konami’s Silent Hill series merged with Dead in the lithe of dayand Heather Mason and Pyramid Hill have joined the ranks of playable Survivors and Killers.
Dead in the lithe of day is now available on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
