Capcom has announced a mini summer showcase, Capcom Next: Summer 2024, set to take place on July 1 at 11pm UK time (3am PDT). The stream will be 25 minutes long and will focus on three upcoming game releases.
Capcom has already confirmed what it intends to show, so no to expect lots of significant announcements, but you can still keep your fingers crossed for some surprises.
You can watch the live stream on YouTube here.
They will showcase Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which was announced yesterday and promises a “completely new look” for the latest generation of consoles.
There will also be updates on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which is coming out on July 19. The game promises to be an fascinating mix of strategy and action, with players escorting the Spirit Stone Maiden through the world, attempting to cleanse villages, and then recruiting the people they save to fight Seethe. Here’s the latest gameplay trailer:
Finally, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard for iPhone, iPad, and Mac will also be shown off during the stream. Capcom has ported Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 to Apple platforms over the past few years – Village first came to Mac in 2022, and RE4 was ported in behind schedule 2023 after the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro. Only this latest Pro phone is powerful enough to handle AAA games of this scale, while the minimum for the Mac and iPad is to have the M1 chip, which debuted in 2020.
