Discover a fresh recent world from Capcom today

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a recent Japanese-inspired IP from Capcom coming to PS5 and PS4, continuing the spirit of recent and creative games from the company’s 40-year history. To prepare for the game’s launch on July 19, a demo is available today!

In the demo, you can take your first steps on the desecrated Mount Kafuku and experience for yourself how the game combines action and strategy, all in a demo packed with content.

In addition to giving you a chance to try out a unique blend of gameplay styles, this demo also has a unique twist! We’re challenging the community to work together to complete two challenges to earn free rewards in the full game for all players. You’ll want to play and work together to achieve them, as these rewards include collaboration content with the beloved 2006 action-adventure classic Okami.

In the first challenge, we task the community with defeating Seethe’s creatures and purifying the defilement in order to obtain 1 billion crystals in the game. These crystals are earned through normal gameplay, so play the demo and defeat Seethe as often as you can! Completing this quest will grant all players two Okami-themed rewards: a costume for Soh based on the Celestial Brush God Amaterasu, and a Thunder Edge weapon inspired by one of Amaterasu’s Divine Instruments. Awoooooo~

Additionally, finding 15 hidden Lucky Mallet Easter Eggs in the demo and sharing them on social media will earn you the Waka costume for Yoshiro and the Okami BGM pack, so you can listen to the Okami collaboration soundtrack while playing Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Follow the official Kunitsu-Gami social media account for campaign details and updates!

The game is all about working together with your villagers to cleanse the world, so we hope you can feel the spirit of cooperation as you play and earn Okami rewards.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is now available for pre-order on PS5 and PS4, with a worldwide release on Friday, July 19th quick approaching! All of us on the team can’t wait for everyone to play the game for themselves and experience its unique gameplay.

Frank returns in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

This game is far from dead, as the recent version has been brought back to life using Capcom’s RE Engine, which brings improved graphics, improved lighting and shadows, and character models in up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS.

If you’re recent to Dead Rising, the story takes place in Willamette, Colorado. Freelance photojournalist Frank West sets out in search of a large story and finds himself in the massive Willamette Parkview Mall engulfed in a zombie outbreak with just 72 hours to uncover the truth. Created with a love for B-horror movies, the original Dead Rising is beloved for its ironic, grave tone, shadowy humor, wacky characters, and unique gameplay mechanics.

In the game, manage your time wisely to explore the diverse areas of the mall, full of various goods that can be useful when fighting off hordes of zombies or helping survivors to safety from the dangers of the mall and its inhabitants. Use everything you can as weapons, wear extravagant outfits and perform death-defying moves as you enjoy the exaggerated world of Dead Rising!

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster includes a ton of fixes and quality of life changes to make this updated version of the game work on recent platforms. Here’s a quick list of a few of them below.

  • Ability to move while aiming
