What is the going rate for Drilbur in Pokémon Go?
According to aged research conducted by the now defunct website The Silph Road (via Wayback Machine), the shiny ratio for Pokémon on a normal day is approximately one in 500. Drilbur is not a confirmed Pokémon to receive a “permanent buff” (meaning it appears infrequently and therefore has an increased shiny ratio).
What can I do to attract more shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately, not much. It seems to be a coincidence. Shiny Pokémon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and are usually only increased during special events, such as Community Days or Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumables that escalate Shiny Pokémon rates.
