Dew leechThe water bubble Pokémon from Alola can be found in the wild in Pokémon GoYes, Dewpider can be shiny in Pokémon Go!
Araquanid, the evolution of Dewpider, isn’t useful in PvP or PvE battles, but it’s a pretty nippy shiny item if you like water spiders.
What is the shiny value of Dewpider in Pokémon Go?
According to venerable research conducted by the now defunct website The Silph Road (via Wayback Machine), the shiny ratio for Pokémon on a normal day is approximately one in 500. Dewpider is not a confirmed Pokémon to receive a “permanent buff” (meaning it appears infrequently and therefore receives an increased shiny ratio).
What can I do to attract more shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately, not much. It seems to be a coincidence. Shiny Pokémon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and are usually only increased during special events, such as Community Days or Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumables that enhance Shiny Pokémon rates.
