Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 arrives on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, July 24.
As detailed in Xbox cable, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Game Pass for Consoles, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate on July 24. The bundle will include the entire package – Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.
While this is obviously gigantic news for Call of Duty fans, it’s also worth noting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be the first Call of Duty game to join Xbox Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has also been confirmed to be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, but Modern Warfare 3 will always have the honor of being the first.
In our review of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 single-player campaign, we said, “Unpolished, rehashed, and cobbled together from multiplayer parts, Modern Warfare 3’s single-player campaign is everything a Call of Duty story mode shouldn’t be.”
In our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer review, we said it “reheats and preserves the same multiplayer from Modern Warfare 2 with a few extra maps and tweaks as extras. That fluid combat remains fodder for players, but the slower unlock progression makes it harder to get excited about.”
In our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies review, we wrote, “Operation Deadlock combines the Zombies mode with Warzone’s DMZ mode, and while the combination can make for some breathtaking battles, you’ll have to be willing to put in the hard slog to see them through.”
