Looter FPS Borderlands 4 has its first trailer courtesy of Medium Geoff’s Happy Hour and… wait. What do you mean three hours? I’m going to die tonight, right? Oh well, at least I’ll die doing what I’m ambivalent about. Here’s the trailer for Fourderlands, which will be released next year.
“Borderlands 4 is a chaos-fueled looter shooter filled with billions of weapons, epic enemies, and intense co-op action,” he says Steam page. “Free yourself from a dangerous hidden planet as one of four tough new Vault Hunters.” Oh! Nobody told me they were tough guys. This changes everything.
You’ll hunt vaults alone or with up to three other players in co-op, and there will also be skill trees and vigorous movement options, Steam praises. You’ll be collecting many, many weapons with “deadly firepower,” which seems like a redundant description. I suppose you’d have to say that if non-lethal firepower also existed. There are plenty of weapons. I will reserve judgment. There will also be “free-form combat and exploration, pulsating boss fights, an endless variety of loot, and an eclectic cast of unforgettable characters, new and old.”
Great. Great. That’s great. I’m sure it’s great. Steam lists the game as “coming soon,” although the trailer predicts 2025. Who to trust in these uncertain times? Well, a little bit of uncertainty makes things electrifying. I mean the comparison anyway.
