Here’s everything in our Blue Protocol: Star Resonance class guide:
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance DPS Classes
Here are all the characters from Blue Protocol: Star Resonance that focus on dealing damage. There are four DPS classes, each with two different specifications.
Ice Mage
- Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Attribute: Intellect
Ice Mage is a long-range AoE DPS character who, as the name suggests, wields the power of ice. Icicle spec focuses on dealing sustained damage by collecting and spending Frost Crystals, while Frost spec takes a more burst damage based approach.
Sniper
- Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Attribute: Agility
The Marksman class wields a bow and works with animal companions in combat, acting as a hunter or ranger-type character. The Wild pack Spec is perfect for animal lovers, it allows you to control multiple animals at once while standing back and protecting yourself. If you prefer birds to wolves, then Falconry Spec allows you to team up with a falcon that attacks when you deal critical damage with your own abilities, such as another attack.
Storm Blade
- Difficulty: ★★★★☆
- Attribute: Agility
Stormblade is an agile melee warrior wielding a scythe. The Iaido Slash spec has a brisk pace and relies heavily on Volt Surge for most of his damage, building up Thunder Seals and then spending them to deal massive damage. The Moonstrike spec instead builds and spends Blade Intent to create chain attacks, but you need a lot of Haste and Luck to do this.
Wind Knight
- Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Attribute: Strength
Using a lance as his weapon of choice, the Wind Knight is agile and brisk, making him perfect for controlling tiny areas of combat. The Van spec is a “button masher” spec, with lots of proc-based skills and lots of options to get the most out of them. The Aerial Spec has its own challenges, focusing on depth attacks that rely on precise combo and cooldown management.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Auxiliary Activities
Both support classes specialize in healing and buffing the team, while also dealing their own damage from a greater distance.
Defeat the contractor
- Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Attribute: Intellect
Beat Performer uses the guitar as a weapon, dealing long-range damage while healing and providing buffs. The Dissonance spec heals by dealing damage, maintaining the group and at the same time offering powerful buffs. The Concert spec is a dedicated healing build, so if you prefer to play healer but also want to look awesome, go this route.
Green Oracle
- Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Attribute: Intellect
Wielding the Ring of Nature and channeling the power of the earth, the Green Oracle grants long-range healing to the party. The Smite spec has less healing than other support builds, but makes up for it with a team-wide shield ability that really shines in vast group fights. The Life spec is the easiest support build in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, offering maximum healing power with healing over time abilities. If you are a beginner MMORPG player and want to act as a healer, choose the Lifebind spec.
Blue Protocol: Star Reonance Tank Classes
Tank heroes excel at defensive fighting styles, often equipped with their own self-healing kit that absorbs damage and protects the team with literal shields or their own bodies.
Heavy Guardian
- Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
- Attribute: Strength
The Heavy Guardian excels in close-range combat, wielding a Guardian Blade that both protects the team and deals damage. The Earth Fort Spec provides survivability and damage mitigation by using a shield instead of self-healing, so keep that in mind when playing. The Block spec, however, focuses solely on damage mitigation, and the second tier of Lucky Block requires a significant investment in the luck stat.
Shield Knight
- Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
- Attribute: Strength
As the name suggests, the Shield Knight wields the classic sword and shield combination, and his set combines close-range combat proficiency, defensive armor, and self-healing. The two Shield Knight specs divide the class’s abilities into regeneration and shielding. Recovery Spec aims for self-sufficiency, but does not completely abandon shielding mechanics. Shield The spec focuses on the Lightforged Barrier passive, applying shields and increasing maximum HP.
