Originally released just over a year ago, Blasphemous II it’s a great example of how to do a sequel well. Now we’re going to get more of this sequel with the news that My fault The DLC will be released on October 31, 2024.
In addition to the paid DLC, there is even more waiting for us. Game Kitchen is also preparing a free “True Torment” update that will be released at the same time. Here’s a very quick tease My fault. The DLC will be priced at $11.99 at launch on Halloween and will be 20 percent off for the first two weeks.
The title of the DLC refers to the lost sword that the Penitent wielded in the first part Blasphemouswhich launched five years ago this month. The novel expansion for the sequel adds two novel areas – each with novel bosses – four novel quests and a novel alternate ending.
There’s also a lot going on in the free update. True Torment introduces New Game Plus, as well as more enemies, skills, prayers, and updated features to improve quality of life and accessibility. One of the novel challenges is the Tide Maze, whose name is now appropriately mysterious and ominous, but comes dangerously close to sounding Blasphemous equivalent of a water temple.
Enough time has passed since then Blasphemous II it turns out that dealing with these novel challenges may simply require a fresh start. Soon you will see me roaming Cvstodia again with hell in my eyes.
