Throne Tron Catalyst, Bithell Games, was unable to provide financing for a novel project and dismissed “most full -time employees”. Mike Bithell took Blues To explain the situation and although it is terrible that people have to lose their jobs, at least this boss depends.
“Sad news today, Bithell games, were not able to secure a new project on a larger scale, the size decreases. This means that eleven jobs are unnecessary. This is the majority of our full-time staff. This is the majority of our full-time staff”-we read in the post.
“It became clear that it led to the release of our latest game, that we were not resistant to challenges, which are faced with many teams of game programmers looking for financing partners in 2024 and 2025. Fortunately, we were able to convey these challenges in advance, and cooperate with the affected staff to soften the departure as much as possible through the packets.”
“Bithell games have always been defined and raised by our people. Today we are less.”
Exemptions will not affect any existing independent games that will continue to receive support.
We have always been Bithell fans; I remember talking to him when his groundbreaking hit, Thomas was alone, was released on PS Vita. Since then, he moved from strength to strength, moving from independent titles, such as a volume for games based on huge franchises, such as John Wick and Tron. He talked to us many times many times, and also came to a conversation on a very omitted TSA podcast.
We wish you released staff and people remaining in Bithell games best.
