Players have had Dragon Age: The Veilguard in their hands for some time now, so BioWare shared some intriguing facts and figures about how the game will play out.
Sharing how gamers currently play has become quite popular because it offers an intriguing insight into the mindset of the masses and how it may or may not differ. BioWare got in on this trend this week by sharing stats from The Veilguard, starting with a breakdown of the classes – it turns out that Mage comes out on top with 40% of players choosing this class, leaving Fighter and Rogue at 30% each , which is actually quite even, even if it’s clear that people imagine themselves as magic users more than anything else.

He then shared what the line players decided to do. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the most frequently chosen line was human at 43%, but elves at 40%. In comparison, much fewer people chose to play Qunari – only 11% of players did so, while dwarves were chosen by only 6% of players. Interestingly, BioWare also shared information about which mission kills players the most: Sea of โโBlood. This mission is actually in quite an early stage, so it may be more about players getting to grips with more things than being that hard. However, when it comes to specific enemies, the Great Dragon Corius Icetalon has killed most players, so be careful if you haven’t encountered this enemy yet.

Finally, there was also a division into factions chosen by the player, which was a bit more diverse. Both Gray Wardens and Shadow Dragons were chosen by 24% of players, which is almost half of all players. Then 16% of them chose Antivan Crows, 15% chose Veil Jumpers, and Lords of Fortune and Mournwatch were chosen by only 11% and 10% of players respectively.
BioWare also said that there will be even more to share in the future when it comes to game stats, so keep your eyes peeled for tidbits like this in the future.
